We've paid another £50 to the photographer. Slowly but surely we're making a hole into the financials! Next big purchase is deposit for my dress. Also need to pay £50 to florist tomorrow for deposit and £70 to give notice on 28th march. Then nothing until 17th April (another instalment due to hotel)

Found another dress and flower girl dresses I love, managed to strike a deal if we bought all 3, so for the 3 dresses we've got them for £1100
ordered some wooden "mr & mrs" signs for our top table and some silk rose petals from amazon to see what the quality's like. Seems like we've done the bulk of it now and have started sorting out the more detailed of stuff. It's quite exciting but stressful also. OH and I have noticed we're much snappier with each other ATM.

Well it's been about 3 weeks since I last posted on here, been so busy with DD starting a new school, work has been stressful and other goings on. We have had to order more invitations as OH's family got involved and started putting their ore in about "well you have to invite so and so" etc and whilst I'm very stubborn and think "if we're bl00dy paying for it we'll invite who the frig we want!" OH is a softy and panders to almost anyone! So to keep the peace and pick my battles I have let him have 'his' way!
We have an apt on 28th March to give notice. I also have to order mine and the girls dresses then too, which I'm worried about as OH has transferred his half of the money into the wedding account yet and without this financially I cannot do it!
I went to the florists and discussed flowers etc and paid the deposit and they have now started dragging their feet so and so has been on holiday and then so and so, and apparently it needs to be 2 people who discuss my flowers and that they won't give me a full and final quote until nearer the time....which to me seems ludicrous as it's like writing a blank bl00dy cheque!
As you can tell I'm a little stressed....
Anyway, how is everyone else's plans coming along?

Hi,
I'm stressed to be completely honest, invitations all bought and made up etc, favour boxes bought and made, all things booked, however I'm struggling with the decorating of the room and the dress, I've had a rethink and not entirely sure on it so going to try more on on sat but with only 6 months to go I am worrying!
