Am surprised at the amount of people who let bullies and the like off so easily, Always makes me wonder how many employers answer on this forum........Wait for it.

Not getting the responses you want so throwing your toys out the pram - a common theme for you?

If you wish to send this email then rather than name and shame give Thanks to all those you have got on with or who have been helpful and then say that you hope that they do not have to deal with those who are whatever they are and note the fact that they will know who you are referring to.
No names, so no one can say you are slandering them but you have publically outed them because I suspect that most will already know who you are referring to.

It's sacked before retiring if you are still employed at the time, and even if you retire before sending that email, do expect to be sued for libel. Something defaming of this scale is bound to get you a lawsuit. You might end up using your pension money and savings to compensate everyone you mention in your email. If you embarrass management in front of their entire company, the only way to salvage their authority and reputation is by suing you to set an example.

Sorry? The only person here who has "let bullies and the like off so easily" is you. You say that they are bullies - prove it by doing something about it before your last day. Sending spiteful emails is not "doing something" - it is showing yourself up.

I don't think it's a case of throwing toys out the pram, it is just a case of wanting advice of how to expose these work bullies for who they are without too many repercussions for either the OP or those left in that workplace.
Plus, comments like this also smack of "I know best !" "How dare you ignore my advice" which is also a common theme on many threads.

Do the math's I have been there about 3 1/2 years there are people who have been there 10,13, 19 years and longer who have suffered, so i'm not going to make a difference in the time I have been there. I just want them to know that their cowardice has not gone unnoticed, and normally these people hate to look prats which they will do.

You seem to be reading different words to me - the OP has had a strop because people do not share his viewpoint. Nowhere did I suggest he was right or wrong. It is in fact him who is being derogatory to others, by suggesting that they are too weak to stand up to bullies or incapable of giving an unbiased viewpoint.

Don't be stupid. Employers has sued ex-employees for libel in the past, and will continue to do so. This is a very convenient time, when OP has some savings and pension money. Sue for all they're worth and leave them penniless. You never should sue someone for libel if they don't have the money to compensate you. Only do this to people who are retiring.

Hi all, towards the middle of this year I will be retiring from the rat race. I would have been at my employment for about 3 1/2 years by then. Over the past 18 months there are one or two people that have been a pain in the backside to say the least.
On my last day I want to send an email to all staff thanking them for their help and friendship, but I also want include the fact that there are a few who have been T***S. and I intend to name names and the fact that amongst other things they have been bullies, liars and vindictive. I want to name the people so that it will bring major embarrassment to the culprits. Now, my question is I KNOW that everything I am going to write is true but where do I stand legally?
Reading that, you just sound bitter and cowardly for not raising now. Emailing that will sound the same and TBH it's likely once everyone has read it and gossiped about it, the fuss will be forgotten within a week.

If there's anything more sinister in the content remember you'll still be employed on the last day so not impossible for recriminations later.
