One UU to report - Boots Botanics Intensive Moisture Mask 75ml

WNBA. Had it forever so not sure if they still do it but nothing special anyway. Unfortunately I am yet to find any facial products that are special (to me anyway). I have major skin problems and can use pretty much anything when it's ok(ish) but everything irritates it when I am having one of my frequent breakouts. Even the dermatologist has washed his hands of me (no pun intended!)

I am getting low on both cleansing lotion and facial wash so will need to replace one or both of these soon. The only alternative is to use my facial wipes but I haven't got many of them and they would then need replacing anyway. I am so proud of myself for getting to 9th February without buying anything that I'm in danger of going in the opposite direction and not buying things even when I need them! I do have lots of shower gel and deodorant though so should keep on smelling sweet for a long time to come!

I think I've come out in sympathy with the people who had sniffles. I don't get colds very often these days but feel like I'm coming down with one myself.

Updated list. I did give away a Sanctuary and a Champneys gift set for birthdays but think I lost the update to my list, so think I actually have fewer items than are on here. However, I came across a Cargo make up set that I bought ages ago which has 6 items in it. I remember there being a lot of hype about their lash extender mascara but it did absolutely nothing for me. I think I paid about £19 for the mascara, and I would never normally pay that much for a single make up item.

Yesterday I went on a day trip, and called into Boots. I spotted a Sanctuary Spa salt scrub bar, and decided to buy it. If you spent £10, you got a free gift set worth £10.50, so as the soap was £5.50, I thought I might as well spend another £5 to get the free gift set. In comes Sanctuary Spa 2 day moisture shower oil. And of course the free gift set (travel size Body Wash, Body Scrub, Body Butter, Hand Cream).

Today, I called into my local Boots store for some ear plugs, and found their valentines offer still going. I couldn't resist 2 weeks in row, and caved; Body Wash, Body Lotion, Body Scrub, Body Butter, Heal Balm, Hand Cream, travel size bath float and bath soak, moisture spray and a salt scrub sachet. All in a very lovely box.

So, after being very proud of having just 2 INs so far this month, I now have 20 :eek::eek::eek:

I really must make a push on my PP list. I will now be on a mission to counter-act my splurge this weekend I am just a victim for anything I think is on a good offer.

24. S&G Fab Pore Facial Peel - WNBA, was fine but there are other face masks which I feel do more for my skin. I got this on clearance and have another 2 left.

25. Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream - this was a GWP and I WNB, way too rich for my skin and left it feeling quite sticky and congested. Imagine it would be amazing if you suffer from dry skin.

I've had to cut a few tubes open today so expecting some full size UUs shortly!

Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Milk Souffle Body Crème - Might buy this again. It moisturises well and the scent is long lasting to the point that I usually didn't add perfume on top (apart from the matching one from the same range sometimes). However, I think the fragrance might be too sweet and sickly in summer.


La Roche Posay Rosaliac AR Anti-Redness Skin Perfecting Daily Moisturiser - WBA. Very useful if my skin is feeling irritated or the redness is flaring up a little bit. Nice and calming, and sinks in well.

Thank you for the feedback on the No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser, I love this style of cleanser as it's quick and easy and not too harsh on my dry skin, and I admit to bring impressed with the prospect of 200ml of product for less than a tenner :money: but I'll wait it out; maybe the next time Boots are offering a £5 off voucher would be the way forward.

UU #27: Fructis Repair & Shine Conditioner 250ml ; WMBA, these are ok but not amazing, but for £1 a bottle I doubt you can do much better.

UU #28: Dove Go Fresh Restore bar 100g; last one gone, WNBA, I'm going back to Dove Original bars for my delicate areas

UU #29: Elemis Skin Nourishing Body Lotion 200ml WNBA, nothing special to justify the £20+ price tag.

GA #3: Batiste Diva Dry Shampoo; DD needed more and I can't use this with curly hair as I can't brush it out after spraying.

GA #4: Impulse Hot Pink Shower Gel; another OUT to DD, she needs a top up and I don't!

Having a reaction to the handwash currently in the bathroom so have put out a L'Occitane Verbena bar for my use instead.

I am almost done with my S&G The Ultimelt and I think I will try the No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser when it's done, have any of you tried this? What's the verdict?

I'm using the No7 Hot Cloth cleanser at the moment and quite like it. I only use it for my evening cleanse, as I dislike cream cleansers for day use, but it leaves my face feeling baby soft and very clean. Great value for money IMO, much prefer it to the Elemis cream cleanser. I don't rate the muslin cloth it comes with so use a face cloth instead (and with my No7 facial brush a couple of times per week too). HTH!

I saw it last week, and managed to resist. I figured it would be over by this week, so I might have a little part of me that felt like I had missed out, but I could live with it.

They did quite a lot of similar offers just before Christmas, so it looks like it's something they will be doing quite often (probably for mothers day next). It will make it a lot easier to resist the next one, but I'm on a SS bandwagon at the moment, and this was a very good deal!
