Poor you rosemary hope you can go and have fun dancing tonight. I don't know what to suggest with your jewellery as I don't have any experience with that sort of thing. I think a few other ladies on here do though so maybe they will have some suggestions.
Despite owning loads of make up, I don't seem to have any matte blushers?! Not an essential I know but I am fed up of looking glittery! I would rather use a highlight on top of the blush if I wanted some shimmer. That being said, I don't mind a shimmery blush every now and again. Need to go through my stash properly and see if I have any matte ones.0 -
Three UUs to report:
Origins Plantscription Anti-Ageing Serum trial size - WNBA as the full size is about £60 and I didn't see any difference from using this. Although I suppose you're meant to use it for longer than a trial size allows to get results! Anyway, another one to go so maybe I'll notice more changes.
La Roche Posay Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser - WBA. Very gentle cleanser that calmed the redness I tend to get around the tops of my cheekbones, and didn't make my skin break out as some cleansers do. The only downside is it's not a very efficient make-up remover so I tended to keep it for mornings only.
Beauticology Strawberry Swirl Shower Crème - WNBA. Yet another bottle of this god forsaken stuff used up! I'm going to treat myself to opening a bottle of Molton Brown or Philosophy from my stash to remember what a good quality shower gel is like!Egg Loan - [strike]£4921.84[/strike] £0!! :j Barclaycard - £3866.47 Legal + Trade - [strike]£2700.96[/strike] £0!! :j Triton - [strike]£1730.89[/strike] £0!! :j Next - [STRIKE]£776.15[/STRIKE] £126.88 Littlewoods - [strike]£217.16[/strike] £0!! :j Housemate - [strike]£1300[/strike] £0!! :j Capital One - [STRIKE]£1652.51[/STRIKE] £1,081.58 Vanquis - [strike]£2337.75[/strike] £375.58
A Payment A Day - £379.02 to Egg.0 -
I've deleted all the Lush bombs etc from my list as Emma has used them all so not counting them as my totals as I didn't use them. Am going to the Trafford Centre again tomorrow as I have a voucher for a free meal for my birthday at Las Iguanas. I'm thinking of buying Emma something from Lush. Any recommendations/new things to try?
My favourite Lush bath cocktail is a Blackberry Bath Bomb with some The Comforter Bubble Bar in there as well...AMAZING! My second favourite Lush product after Snow Fairy is The Comforter.
It is massive though, and a bit pricey (around the £5/6 mark) but you can easily get about 6-8 baths out of the one bar.
I don't have on in my stash at the moment, trying to UU all my Christmas products first before buying one, as it lasts for ages.0 -
rosemary54 wrote: »thanks for the good wishes about the craft stall ladies, sadly despite lovely weather here there was a poor attendance and I only sold 3 items for the grand sum of £14.50!!!!given that the stall rent was £10 and petrol, time and cost of raw materials I think that was really a loss
so hard to know where to try as I am not a salesperson and would hate to go to any big fairs, have done them in the past as lost money. My things are cheap e.g £2 a pair for hand made one off design earrings to £15 for a freshwater pearl necklace.I just love making things.I did try ebay ,folksy and etsy but so many others are doing the same thing so not easy even giving the stuff away....oh well presents for friends for the next 100 years!!!!
also drew a blank on fleabay selling make up despite some watchers, not my day.
I emailed the seller to ask where my skirt was but no reply so am guessing it wont arrive, think she was annoyed it went for 99p but that,s not my fault and she should send it, yet another complaint to fleabay!!!
think half the trouble at the fair was a bossy woman next to me grabbing people and getting them to fill in a prize draw form, they were then so keen to escape her that they did not look at my stuff!!
oh well off dancing tonight so hope that will be good, with the plane problems and DH falling downstairs and breaking his specs it has not been a good week.
Sorry to hear the stall didn't go as well as hoped. Have you tried setting up a page on Faceb? There are some good networking sites on there that you can post your items onto as much as you like.
Another 2 INs to report. Went into Superd yesterday to see if there were any bargains and got 2 Dove body lotions that were reduced to 40p each, so we've got plenty of body lotion to last for ages now.
1 UU: Boots dental tape, WBA if on offer as it does the job.
Hope everyone has a good weekend and stays safe with the awful weather xThank you to everyone who posts on here0 -
couple more UUs
tresemee keratin hair conditioner - have a few more in my stash but WBA
st ives body scrub - again a few more in the stash but will reserve the decision on WIBA when its done
one of the cheapo hair dyes i got yday - not sure dont think its covered the roots as well as i would have liked but at 1.99 it was a good choice - at least it has covered then and will do for another few weeks until i use my normal dye0 -
happy birthday Sundaysgirl

Shame about the jewellery rosemary.
Fiasco - hope you enjoy the rest of your break.
The wind here is awful and seems to be getting worse. I feel for all the people suffering in the floods and our dead loss of a government not helping at all. They need to give money to them to get sorted out as soon as these storms pass and stop giving it away to other countries - charity begins at home.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hi guys, I've only been away a day and 3 more pages have filled up!
I went to visit my friend who's had a baby - it was lovely to have some baby cuddlescame back today and had to stand on windy platforms so arrived home with a bit of a chill so decided to have a hot bath and use up some sachets I've found which I've had for ages!
UU - Sanctuary Smoothing Hair Treatment Oil - this was a gift but I WBA as it seems to do a really good job.
Sanctuary Brightening Facial Moisture Boosting Mask - a gift again, WBA as my skin feels really smooth and my enlarged pores aren't as noticeable.
Herbal Essences Bee Strong Shampoo
Herbal Essences Bee Strong Conditioner
Probably wouldn't buy again, pretty normal hair products.
Mon Savon Blueberry Shower Gel 250ml - this was a freebie from my friend's work WNBA as it's pretty boring.Decluttering 2015: 2162/20150 -

They cost less than £5. They are, for want of a better word, lush:rotfl:
My fave Lush product is snow fairy but instead of them sending me 6 x 500ml bottles at sale time they sent me 30 x 100ml bottles.....yeah, the same volume, but not the point! I emailed to complain, then tweeted them as they ignored me, they ignored that too! I think I've fallen out with them.......but don't think I can enjoy a bath without the comforter lolNo more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80 -
Happy belated birthday, sundaysgirl _party_
KT2802, have a look at the Natural Colletion blushers the next time you are in Boots, I have Pink Cloud and Peach Melba, they're both lovely mattes although Pink Cloud is my favourite; I think they're £1.49 or £1.99 each. [/enabling]
I am almost done with my S&G The Ultimelt and I think I will try the No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser when it's done, have any of you tried this? What's the verdict?0
