No buying unnecessary toiletries February 2014

emsjune - I would keep the hair dye well away from your bathroom when applying and rinsing. I have mine done at the hairdresser now because no matter how hard I tried the following day I would always find marks. Because of my taps and position of my kitchen sink it was a nightmare doing it there too.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Belated happy birthday Sundaysgirl. Hope you had a lovely day.Just painted my nails with nails inc fenchurch street plus used Kensington caviar top and base coat. The top coat is amazing - dries in 45 seconds! My nails are a chocolate colour which is making me want to eat chocolate! :rotfl:
Ooooo. Yummy! Lol.Clutterfree wrote: »Hello All,
One more UU from my PP list...
Tova Perfume - WNBA, used to love this about 8 years ago and it brings back lots of lovely memories which is why I have hung into the last bit for so long. Anyway, it's gone now and the memories will still remain even without the bottle in my stash.
Have a great weekend.
What a lovely thought!
Hope you make lots of cash at the craft sale Rosemary.
Feel better soon emsjune.
Asset totally agree with the thoughts of others here. Completely insensitive, thoughtless and tight sounding lot. Glad you've thought of some reasons not to go.
I am away for a few days with the bf. He is working next weekend so we are having an early valentines gettaway. Having a lovely time. Hotel isn't great. Currently in room number 3 and all of the Tvs flicker so I can't watch them because of my migraines. Complained and the TVs are getting replaced on Monday (funny that). They are the Hugh box ones I haven't seen in years. Anyway did get few wifi for our entire stay as compensation ( which suits us better as I have Sky Go on my iPad)Bf had to harvest light bulbs from the other rooms to completely light our room.
Having a pamper day and have 3 UUs Ojion hair repair mask which was a freebie - too soon to tell if I WBA. Freebie porefessional sample - already use and love this. Valentino freebie of Vanentina which is very nice and the BF loves.
Anyway, heading off to the shopping outlet nearby which has l'octitane and Moltin Brown....help me from buying too much...:rotfl:No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -

I only went in to get the points added from things I bought earlier in the week, I do wish they would not put clearance items by the tills! I also picked up No7 Exquisite Curl Mascara in Brown / Black for £2.50!

Lush Father Christmas bath bomb
Probably wouldn't buy again, didn't think it was anything special, maybe because I used 1/2 a Candy Mountain in the bath as well, I didn't get the full scent of the bomb. Oh well, I prefer my Candy Mountain anyway
I've deleted all the Lush bombs etc from my list as Emma has used them all so not counting them as my totals as I didn't use them. Am going to the Trafford Centre again tomorrow as I have a voucher for a free meal for my birthday at Las Iguanas. I'm thinking of buying Emma something from Lush. Any recommendations/new things to try?Clutterfree wrote: »Hello All,

Have a great weekend.I used to hold onto the dregs of perfumes for the same reasonsStarted to UU them all now though as like you say the memories still remain
Very philosophical ladies. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Have caught up with you all. I noticed a couple of people were feeling ill - hope you are both wrapped up indoors enjoying a duvet day. The weather here is awful. Went out earlier to take Emma to karate and the wind was biting. Have to go out again soon to collect her and take her for a contact lense test at Specsavers. Think I'll have a soak in the bath when I get back.
Have a UU: L'occitane Verbena body lotion 75ml sized. I love this lotion and would probably buy it in a kit from QVC to save money however the packaging is so hard to get any product out of that I cut the bottle open whilst it was full and kept dipping in to use it up.
UUs seem a bit slow going at the moment - it's been 4 days since I reported any - however I do have 10 items ready for my PP list when that NSPA BB Cream has finally gone. There's still loads of product left in the cut open tube though.
Saw the new OPI colours on QVC this morning (recorded from Wednesday) and am seriously lusting after the OPI Scores a Goal colour. My first thought was to go and get a bottle at the Trafford Centre tomorrow but am now thinking I shouldn't in case I get it for my birthday on Friday. Think I'll wait to see them in Sally's if not.
Have repainted my finger nails and am wearing Sephora by OPI Metro Chic.
Am thankful that I am out tomorrow so that I don't watch any of the Laura Geller shows.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. DD came along and nails were kept short for obvious reasons but now Ive rediscovered my love of polish with a passion. Im sure with a bit of attention your nails will return to their former glory and in the meantime I always think darker colours look better on 'shorties' than talons.
Thats made me feel much better about it
thankyou!
Also I must be some sort of genius as my IN is kind of related...
Not an IN to count on my final total as just a nail varnish which for now I'm not counting... But I've been working my magic in TKMAX. My all time favourite polish is a glittery one by OPI from the Kardashian collection rainbow in the skylie, I had to repurchase at Christmas. but today I happened upon a set of 4 in tkmaxx today only £12.99rrp £46! Has in it my favourite polish, a gold glitter (< both gone to mum to give me for Xmas pressies next year
), a pink glitter which I've already popped on ebay, and "follow me on glitter" which is a very fine silver glitter suspended in a black polish with the odd larger piece of glitter (the size glitter polishes are normally) which are colourful, pink, gold, green, blue etc... I love it it's going on my nails right now!
XI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

So windy here, it's awful. Hope no one on here has floods, feel so sorry for people whose houses have been flooded. Must be so terrible.
Some INS to report, in my defence 2 were sort of needed and are skincare. The other 2 are make up but I ordered them in January and they were just collected/delivered recently, so I am still on track for buying no make up in February :T
41 - Clinique Neutral Territory 2 Palette - excited to try this but really shouldn't have bought it, hence the make up buying ban for Feb.
42 - La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo Plus
43 - La Roche Posay Effaclar Astringent Lotion
I really like the Effaclar range and wanted to try the new duo once the current one I am using is UU. Nearly ran out of the toner so will be reporting the old one as UU shortly.
44 - Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in Mischievous - did NOT need this.
Hoping I will not have many INS now for the rest of the year as most of this years INS have been make up related. I am banning myself from buying any make up for Feb and maybe even for the rest of the year if I can manage it  hasn't been too bad so far but we are only a week into Feb :rotfl:0 -

Not wishing to enable, but if you have to go out and purchase, it is Now £7.95 (Delivery from £1.99 ) on Nail Polish Direct, delivery usually free over £10.:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
thanks for the good wishes about the craft stall ladies, sadly despite lovely weather here there was a poor attendance and I only sold 3 items for the grand sum of £14.50!!!!given that the stall rent was £10 and petrol, time and cost of raw materials I think that was really a loss
so hard to know where to try as I am not a salesperson and would hate to go to any big fairs, have done them in the past as lost money. My things are cheap e.g £2 a pair for hand made one off design earrings to £15 for a freshwater pearl necklace.I just love making things.I did try ebay ,folksy and etsy but so many others are doing the same thing so not easy even giving the stuff away....oh well presents for friends for the next 100 years!!!!
also drew a blank on fleabay selling make up despite some watchers, not my day.
I emailed the seller to ask where my skirt was but no reply so am guessing it wont arrive, think she was annoyed it went for 99p but that,s not my fault and she should send it, yet another complaint to fleabay!!!
think half the trouble at the fair was a bossy woman next to me grabbing people and getting them to fill in a prize draw form, they were then so keen to escape her that they did not look at my stuff!!
oh well off dancing tonight so hope that will be good, with the plane problems and DH falling downstairs and breaking his specs it has not been a good week.0
