    30 x 100ml bottles.....

Don't they know about this challenge? 30 ins will look awful for your stash list! :rotfl: Although I am a bit jealous of the mountains of Snow Fairy you have, I only have 2 x 100ml bottles

I have 1 UU and 1 in so at least I have balanced the books!

UU Avon Anew trial size night cream, this lasted ages for a little pot, probably because I wasn't that keen on it. Did the job but had a really strong fragrance I don't really need in a moisturiser.

I bought an M&S under eye concealer today, I haven't tried any of their make up apart from my nail polish base coat and thought I would give it a go as they are bunny friendly. Also saved myself from temptation in SD!

    Have a good weekend everyone

I think I will try the No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser when it's done, have any of you tried this? What's the verdict?

    I wasn't impressed, I've used it once! I don't know if I'm missing something.......

  • A few UU's for me this week:

L'Occitane 10ml hand cream (one of the freebies From the Fb promo). Probably WNBA, did the job but not keen on the smell and prefer Atrixo which is much cheaper.

Pantene shampoo for coloured hair 400ml. This lasted forever! WBA but in a smaller size as I like to have a change quite frequently and usually have 2 or 3 shampoos on the go at one time.

Nivea Irresistably Smooth body lotion. WNBA, I found it really boring!

Sold 12 make-up items on the Bay of e which will be posted Monday so 15 OUTs so far, not bad :D

    Some INs:

Naked 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner. This will be used for my sons hair.

Naked shampoo for damaged hair. Was 2 for £6 on Naked stuff in Boots and I paid with points so essentially free...

Kerastase shampoo and conditioner sample sachets. Will probably try these next week.
    Never say never
  • Ooh also UU Good Things Face the Day moisturiser, replaced with GT Miracle Mattifier moisturiser (love GT face products) and a couple of Dermalogica sample sized things from my You Beauty Advent calendar :)

Have two UUs from my PP list -

    1. BS Rainforest Moisture Conditioner 250ml
    2. Sanctuary Spa - Body Lotion 250ml
    3. Le Reve - Invigorating Body Shampoo 200ml
    4. Thursday Plantation - Tea Tree Face wash 250ml
    5. Schwartzkopf - Colour Protect Shampoo
    [STRIKE]6. Olay - Complete Defence SPF30 75ml[/STRIKE]
    7. Elemis - Treat your feet cream 20ml
    [STRIKE]8. Clarins - Intensive bi-phase serum 15ml[/STRIKE]
    9. Ragdale Hall - Spa Sugar Scrub 200ml
    10. Evolu - Facial Rehydrating mask 50ml

I saw a lovely 8 Piece Estee Lauder GWP in my local chemist and decided I absolutely must have it: in my defence I was wanting and still trying to decide on an eye cream and a girl can never have too much free Advanced Night Repair serum. LOL

I rarely wear make-up and only have a few bits and bobs for high days and holidays; so I had a little chat with the girl on the counter and she tried a lick of bronzer and lip gloss on me and I was really pleased with the look, so that's what I bought. The gift had mascara, lipstick and eyeliner in it but I will just count the four skincare items for purposes of this challenge

    Advanced Night Repair 7ml
Age Reversing Line / Wrinkle Cream 15ml
    Age Reversing Eye Crème 5ml
Take it Away - Make up Remover Lotion 30ml
    Mortgage
    Start January 2017: $268,012
    Latest balance $266,734
    Reduction: $1,278.45

, have a look at the Natural Colletion blushers the next time you are in Boots, I have Pink Cloud and Peach Melba, they're both lovely mattes although Pink Cloud is my favourite; I think they're £1.49 or £1.99 each. [/enabling] ;)

I am almost done with my S&G The Ultimelt and I think I will try the No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser when it's done, have any of you tried this? What's the verdict?

The No7 cleanser is a bog standard product, it does the job but I doubt you will be wowed.

Three days of using the OPI Avoplex and my cuticles are drying out and going raggedy and I am starting to pick and chew them. Why doesn't this product work for me?

Not wishing to enable, but if you have to go out and purchase, it is Now £7.95 (Delivery from £1.99 ) on Nail Polish Direct, delivery usually free over £10.:D

Thanks. I'm a bit like a petulant child with new OPI though in that I WANT IT NOW!! John Lewis have a price match online for OPI at the mo so am hoping they have it instore as well. They generally do don't they? Will only be marginally dearer than Nail Polish Direct that way.

    Three UUs to report:

Origins Plantscription Anti-Ageing Serum trial size - WNBA as the full size is about £60 and I didn't see any difference from using this. Although I suppose you're meant to use it for longer than a trial size allows to get results! Anyway, another one to go so maybe I'll notice more changes.

I'm using the eye cream from this range at the moment and am loving it. Have seen a real improvement to the skin under my eyes. This is £36.50 a pot though so am going to strive to wait until all my eye creams have been UUed and I've saved a substantial amount towards it before purchasing a pot.
My favourite Lush bath cocktail is a Blackberry Bath Bomb with some The Comforter Bubble Bar in there as well...AMAZING! My second favourite Lush product after Snow Fairy is The Comforter.
It is massive though, and a bit pricey (around the £5/6 mark) but you can easily get about 6-8 baths out of the one bar.

I don't have on in my stash at the moment, trying to UU all my Christmas products first before buying one, as it lasts for ages.

Thank you. I asked Emma what she wants in the end and she's asked for Tender is the Night massage bar. I may treat myself to something as well once I've smelt the Valentines goodies though will have to ensure I don't get shower gel or soap!!

Speaking of which Emma was asking me yesterday where her shower jelly was that I got in the Jan sales. Went into my drawer to dig this out and found another bath ballistic that I'd forgotten about shaped like an angel. We are "sharing" this apparently!

They cost less than £5. They are, for want of a better word, lush:rotfl:

My fave Lush product is snow fairy but instead of them sending me 6 x 500ml bottles at sale time they sent me 30 x 100ml bottles.....yeah, the same volume, but not the point! I emailed to complain, then tweeted them as they ignored me, they ignored that too! I think I've fallen out with them.......but don't think I can enjoy a bath without the comforter lol

    The Comforter bar is yummy.

Wow 30 bottles. I instantly thought though that you are easily fixed up for birthday presents for teachers, your children's little friends, (if appliacable) your friends as they are great stocking filler sizes/mini gifts/hamper contents. 30's still a lot to get through though I suppose.

I have another UU and have more "inherited" INs.

UU: LE C&P 100ml. I like this as my evening cleanser. Unfortunately when LE removed the almond milk it became less effective as a day time cleanser. Years ago when it contained almond milk I thought it was fabulous. I stopped suffering from redness and oiliness however the Elemis cleansers are more effective for me now in tackling oiliness. So WBA however I have 3 x 100ml and 3 x 30ml in my stash. Emma has brought a new 100ml out of her room so definitely won't have to buy any more C&P for a while. 100ml lasts us roughly a month between us.

    INS:-

I had got to the point last week where I had graduated in body scrubs as the only scrub I thought I then had was a bar of Lush Porridge soap. As I have a bar of soap on the go at the moment (a Yorkshire Soap Company one) I have not wanted to open this and stole some of Emma's Exfotonic yesterday. Anyway, having come to the end of the L'occitane body lotion I was using I thought I was use the Gok Wan body butter that's been hidden under the basin next. When I pulled it out yesterday discovered it is a body scrub so yay I can now use this rather than the Porridge for now. I then pulled out a Jelly Belly gift set that Emma has had for ages. She wanted me to throw it away however just can't bring myself to. It contained 3 x 60ml pots of bath salts, body scrub and body butter plus a small tube of bubble bath. I have kept the bubble bath and body scrub to use however don't like bath salts at all and the body butter was opened and smelt bad so they have gone in the bin. Am gonna go have a soak in the bath now with the bubble bath and use it all up to get rid.

Have taken a 35ml bottle of Elemis Frangipani Monoi Melt Oil out of my stash to use next along with the tube of Gok Wan shower gel that was also lurking under the basin that Emma insists is mine but I don't think it is as I have another in my drawer.

Lastly, I watched an hour of QVC this morning and saw the Laura Geller TSV. Was getting that tingling feeling where I was considering jumping to the phone to order especially when I saw the three Easy pays. The rest of the items in the kit still didn't inspire me and I prefer Champagne Spackle so my resolve is strong for now.

For myself I don't think that oils do anything at all for my cuticles (I have read of this too), but they do nourish my dry nails and make them grow well. I have tried Avoplex, Jessica Phenomen and CND Solar oil, ATM I have an Essie Smooth trick pen and a bottle of Almond oil on the go.

What does work for me is that the residue from my fingers of absolutely everything that I use on my face and body gets rubbed into my cuties. Acid toner - I sweep the cotton pad over before I bin it, then rub in serum, hydraluron and moisturiser, body lotion et al. Some of it must get washed off when I wash my hands after I have finished my make up though.
