Two PCNs one Hospital

  • Hi Redx,

Its not as simple as that, the letter I sent was appealing to all three PCNs that I attracted in the space of three weeks at the local hospital visiting my mother.

but if they send you 3 NTK,s then you appeal each one of them because they are separate tickets, so each one will either be cancelled or you will receive a popla code for each one , so 3 tickets = 3 popla codes

BUT on studying the letter more carefully it would appear they have referred them to the hospital trust for consideration , whereas I thought they were the NTK,s you were expecting (I found the scans almost impossible to read so assumed they were NTK,s)

so yes you are awaiting further correspondence from the trust and from this PPC too

OK thanks Redx, I take it all that legal jargon at the end of the letter is a standard response which means jack sh*t

I will post what ever I receive.

  • What beggars belief at this Hospital which like others are run 24/7
52 weeks of the year, Parking Solutions 24 only patrol between 7.30am through to 4.30pm.

From 4.30pm to 7.30am all staff and visitors park anywhere without challenge. I park in the same place as always every evening as I did every day without challenge over 25 days.

Through the day shift the patrol attendants have the nickname of "the sunshine boys" by the staff at this Hospital because when it is raining they are nowhere to be seen other than the hospital restaurant/caf! on an extended break.

I only wish I could prove the latter.

    Regards

Still waiting for a reply, its been 17 days so far.
Good news my Mother is out of hospital, making slow progress, but brain is damaged, have to go for another scan at end of month.

    So hopefully no more PCNs.

Its now been 41 days since I have received this reply from Parking Solutions 24 and I have had no further replies either from them or the hospital concerned.

Is it a possibility that I will not hear any more or is there a chance that they will drop me a bombshell at the last moment.??

Even if they do reject your appeal they will have to issue you with a POPLA code, which you can then use.

You could contact them again, something along the lines of "You have had sufficient time to investigate this matter, if I do not hear from you in relation to this matter in the next 14 days I will consider that my appeal has been successful." However, this may rock the boat, it depends if you're happy to just sit back and wait.

    Hi da-rule,

I can wait as long as they can, I am in no hurry or even bothered to contact them, I was just hoping that there was a time limit for them to contact me before I can write the issue off.

    Thanks for the reply

I would be proactive and write to say something like da_rule has suggested. By the way I wonder if 'Pay my PCN' should be using all those logos which include the IPC and the BPA?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It`s been 75 days now and I have had no more letters from Parking Solutions 24 regarding my 3 PCNs.

I have had no POPLA code sent to me, so by the lack of response can I presume that they have accepted my letter of appeal.
