They are the last resort if you get firedmattcanary wrote: »Yes, you could be.
Your employers are not the last resort however.
That is the DWP, in many cases.
And if they let you down for no good reason, then you are really and truly stuffed.

I do, I like walking
The only time I don't is if it is heavy rain or really stormy.
I hate just waiting around my house until it's time to leave to go for the train.
I've also seen quite a few job adverts in shop windows, that I wouldn't have seen from the train.
You'r e insane!
Any adviser tried to sanction you for not looking on Universal JobSearch daily, because you spend all your time walking to the DWP to sign-on, meaning you can'tlog on to Universal Jobsearch.
Flippant -probably. But a bad adviser has the power....
I'm lucky really - as I live a 10-15 minute walk away from the JobCentre. And I live in a city that has one of the best public libraries in the country, if I have any problems with my computer at home that prevents me applying for jobs temporarily.0 -

Was about to say you were actually quoting me.
UJM is available 24/7, I can use it at night. First thing in the morning, even when I'm walking to the job centre
And they can only see your UJM activity if you allow them access.0 -
There's a lot of mis-quoting going on. Reading back, you seem to have done it too (eg see your post #66). Perhaps it's the MSE site at fault.0 -

There was an unclosed quote tag, which kept getting carried over when someone else quoted0 -
