Well done flypeeps lots of successes today.

I've taken a couple of bits to the 2nd hand book store
Dropped some snacks that we don't need to the food bank
Paid a cheque in which was in the pile of papers
Did a quick food shop whilst out.

I won't get much more done today, may be a little ironing but tomorrow is another day.

Happy birthday, Master Bossy and Lil Me's DD.

I have very little in the sitting room that is out of place, so I have spent all day in the RoD sorting through paperwork again. I have one more inch of files in the in tray, and one notebook to fillet, and after that, I have a clear run at everything. Never thought I'd get this far this quickly, but it may have something to do with filing all of the unfinished work that doesn't have a deadline in the filing cabinet. When I sort through that and archive the ancient stuff, I can deal with it one file at a time rather than being utterly depressed by how often I've sifted through it all, overwhelmed by the size of the paperwork pile.
    Better is good enough.

Re: missing my GUAG, I took myself to the dr's at 8am, to get a sample bottle, as I 'think' I might have a urine / kidney infection, get bootle, then ask 'the dragon' 'how to I get an appointment for 8am tomorrow please'

Well you can guess the response.

I have to go on her list, blah blah, I pointed out I as type 2 and I need urgent help, get again you have to go on the list blah blah.

Behind her was another lady I had never seen before, she lent forward, and said to the dragon, if this person can produce a sample with in the next 5 mins I will see her now, she needs help!!! 'the dragon's face was a picture....

Mean while I leg it with pot to toilet, then head to room 5, duly tested by the lady who turned out to be one of the dr's, yes kaz I agree with your diagonise, here is a prescription!! result or what! but hope fully, this may sort me out....................

Hoovered all downstairs and some of upstairs.
Tidied lounge enough for student to work without injuring herself!
Have got 3 email accounts working reasonably well on new computer.
Have transferred all old emails onto new computer.
    Done lots of surveys.

Have let myself be talked out of gym by OH who is tired after a busy day. Oh well there's always tomorrow which is my big gym day.
Have started recording all I've eaten, as the shame of owning up to it usually makes me think twice before being a total eataholic.

Ought to do stuff in the office but it is so blinking cold up there! Will continue surveys and general "exploring new compute" aka wasting time.

    Evening!

I've just sat down and sadly the LR is trashed :o
We had grandparents round for tea and cake, and DS still hasn't opened all his presents! But he had swimming after school so a bit of a rushed night. I've sorted the kitchen after feeding 7 plus boiled the beans that have been soaking, all now in slowcooker with chorizo, onions and passata for a lovely soupy stew type thing.
WM is on too, some uniform will need to go in the airing cupboard overnight :o

Kids both asleep now, so just having a brew and a breather than I will start to clear some space. There's plenty that can go in the green bin...

Haven't even been out in the conservatory, but I'm WFH tomorrow and possibly Wed too. So I should be able to get a declutter session or two in each day. It'll be quite a convenient week, really ;)

DS has had a lovely day, we've had too much cake but sent lots home with our guests so not too much indoors to tempt me :o i am weak...

  • Good evening, It has been rather busy today therefore I am just going to update my list and then put my feet up and watch some tv.

Wipe the kitchen sides (just what you can see)
Clean the kitchen sink, slosh some soda crystals and hotwater down
    Hoover and mop the floor

Reception Room (Living Room/Dining Room/Conservatory) Declutter
Today's aim is to deal with everything you can see without opening drawers/cupboards, or looking behind sofas.
Imagine how you would like the room to be at the end of the week.

Start by putting all rubbish and recycling in the bins outside of the room.
Take any cups, plates etc (along with stray bottles of tomato sauce) into the kitchen for washing.
Recycle any newspapers, magazines etc which are laying around, will you really get around to reading them?

Rehome anything which does not belong in this room to its correct place (if it doesn't have a home then this is part of your problem, you need to find it one or question if you really need it - small children not included).

The first 30 minutes is usually the most successful so get off to a good start and then have a break or your ability to make decisions will decrease.

So if the floor now clear? If not carry on for as long as you can.

Have a quick hoover around the middle of the room (we'll move the furniture later in the week.

    Other jobs for Monday
    Sort Avon books
    Distribute some Avon books
    Sort tester paperwork
    Catch up with emails
Start to sort diary for next month
Do course work that is in for today

Just submitted my figures for the Bird Watch at the weekend. A pathetic total this year - I assume as it isn't that cold and there are still lots of berries etc around. I'm not having to fill the feeders up much, maybe once a week - in the cold winter last year it was daily. How many did anyone else see?

    I'm in - thank you Dusty :A

My front room is a tip and I've done virtually no flying since the middle of last week. The delightful inspection really knocked me for six and I spent most of the weekend asleep.
