    Marvellous Monday Basics
Wipe the kitchen sides (just what you can see)
Clean the kitchen sink, slosh some soda crystals and hotwater down
    Hoover and mop the floor

Reception Room (Living Room/Dining Room/Conservatory) Declutter
Today's aim is to deal with everything you can see without opening drawers/cupboards, or looking behind sofas.
Imagine how you would like the room to be at the end of the week.

[STRIKE]Start by putting all rubbish and recycling in the bins outside of the room.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Take any cups, plates etc (along with stray bottles of tomato sauce) into the kitchen for washing.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Recycle any newspapers, magazines etc which are laying around, [/STRIKE]

Rehome anything which does not belong in this room to its correct place (if it doesn't have a home then this is part of your problem, you need to find it one or question if you really need it ). if there was a nodding smilie it would be inserted here. my prob is definately more stuff than space. i have vowed not to buy more wool or cross stitching stuff till ive used up what i have and because we have a small kitchen the ironing pile/basket is stored in the lounge so if its not kept under control it can take over unless hidden in one of the rooms upstairs.

The first 30 minutes is usually the most successful so get off to a good start and then have a break or your ability to make decisions will decrease.

So if the floor now clear? If not carry on for as long as you can.

[STRIKE]Have a quick hoover around the middle of the room[/STRIKE]

    my list
scouts tonight check all stuff ready
    clear ironing pile again
funeral to go to this week, check DH has suitable shirt etc
80th birthday party, get card and pres sorted.
ring insurance if no email by friday.
    meeting after work tomorrow
    SPC~12 ot 124

around, will you really get around to reading them? [/STRIKE]
    none
[STRIKE]Rehome anything which does not belong in this room to its [/STRIKE][STRIKE]
correct place (if it doesn't have a home then this is part of your problem, you need to find it one or question if you really need it .[/STRIKE]

[STRIKE]The first 30 minutes is usually the most successful so get [/STRIKE][STRIKE]
off to a good start and then have a break or your ability to make decisions will decrease. [/STRIKE]now onto about 3rd 30 minutes

So if the floor now clear? If not carry on for as long as you can. - have been working on my ironing board in the lounge as won't be able to move if I don't!!! Now got piles of WWI memorial research, DS house hunt, bills to file, sentimental stuff and a large wastepaper basket full too!

[STRIKE]Have a quick hoover around the middle of the room (we'll [/STRIKE][STRIKE] move the furniture later in the week.[/STRIKE]

LameWolf Evie is drop dead gorgeous - is she a guest or yours? What breed is she? Lovely lovely lovely little girl!
Evie's a guest - she's actually going home tomorrow morning, so I have scheduled a date with Mr Dys0n for tomorrow afternoon.:D She's a Cocker Spaniel; only 8 months old. Her star sign is Taurus, and oh boy, does it show! Taureans are generally noted for being headstrong, and she most certainly is that!:rotfl:She is lovely though, and enjoys cuddles and playing with her many toys.:o

I don't know if it counts as Flying, but I've given Evie a grooming session; she brought some "puppy spritzer" with her, so we've used a little of that and gently brushed her. She's starting to get the "feathery" bits on her legs, so they've been brushed to remove the bits of grass she picked up outside; she's all pretty now, and hopefully will stay presentable til her "taxi" arrives, at 10:00 tomorrow.:D I've also done her postcard to take home with her, as I shan't be compos mentis enough to write it that early tomorrow!:D

Kerri welcome back, I'm also on leave, it's not as easy as you think so don't over do it. We are having a declutter / deep clean week this week, next week will be a normal one.

Back from school run, will look into dinner and crack on with ironing

Sunday is good for us, we need to be home for 5 but that's plenty of time. I'm thinking I'll drive to a park and ride and we'll get the shuttle bus to the NRM. I think I'll bring the pushchair even though my two will fight over it... and packed lunches too!

Sorry pigpen - one day I will remember to check every word of this horrid predictive text on Kindle :o

New computer coming tomorrow, yay! Must finish clearing my desk....

    Will PM you later, bossy
