Right, everyone has now left the building so I'd better get cracking. Need to unpack DD's kit from camp too as she got straight on with her homework when she got back last night. She's also started her periods so felt a bit grot :(.
Weather doesn't know what to do with itself, the cat flap was banging around loads last night due to the wind

ETA: All done! Just got some admin to do now.

  • Morning everyone - I am in!! Thanks to Natty and Dusty for the threads.

Will spend HHC in the living room just to get it how it wants to be!!! then onto the Dining Room which is my room of doom - and where i have dumped my enormous paper frog box!!!
Not sure yet just how to tackle it apart from baby steps. It is clean but just full of stuff that gets moved about into different piles then left - sure some of you will know what I mean:o. Have an important reason to get rid of it all once and for all this week but think I might just have to invest in some more boxes to sort the different piles into so they can be put away where I know how to find them again.

Sorry not being very clear - it will get better as I go through the week I hope!!!

Ionafan, I thought the flymeet was on Sunday, has it changed to Saturday now? Sorry if I've missed a post about it.

Ah me too. Don't think we can do Saturday. I had it down as the 2nd?

And Happy Birthday to Lil_Me's DS too!

I'm trying to get hold of afterschool club to see if they have room for two more at breakfast tomorrow - slight last minute childcare issue.

    Morning,

I've washed up and put on the dw - have started clearing the sides. Last nights extras need potting up and putting in the freezer.

Good start to the day today - sorted, washed and hung up to dry a load of washing, kids both gone to school with their extra stuff they needed to take today, walked the dog and done some paid work. Had a lovely walk in the sun with my friend but now I see the wind has picked up and it's starting to rain so glad we went when we did!

Happy Birthday to Flylady LOs! :bdaycake:

Justthetwoofus I really know what you mean about piles simply being moved from place to place without anything happening - I don't do this myself but DH is an expert

Kaz2904 awww, hope DD is coping OK - how old is she? My DD is advancing quite rapidly now - think it won't be long til she discovers the joys of AF :(

Right, best get on with some more paid stuff ... will fly this afternoon.

Forgot to say, Happy Birthday to the little flybabies :).
DD's coping fine, she is chuffed I think! She's just turned 12 so is older than I was when I started.

  • I had the flymeet down for Sunday as well. I assume it's a typo.

Anyone for HHC. Amazing how attractive this is when tax returns are glaring at me.

I completely get this too... OH has bags of stuff that he has to sort through, but just shoves in a cupboard! Partly my fault as I just shove all his carp into bags for him to sort through, but then when he can never find anything I do try to tell him it would be so much easier if he just sorted it all out :)
