Thank you I have been using it for the last year on and off hoping that something magical will happen and the weight will drop off without changing my eating habits :rotfl:
This is my second week of weighing my food and I have lost 11lb I know now it will slow back down but if I can walk the dogs a bit more and just in general move it should be a bit easier. My ideal weight is 8st and I am almost double that!!!
Flying wise I have WUDUPA x3 and done 1xWM. I have my first ever smear on Tuesday..... now I am going to make myself look useful and stop watching despicable me.
I hope the meet went well.
Would it help if you added me as a friend, and we could egg each other on ? I have 42 Lbs I want to lose - maybe more but that would do. If I ever reached it....
And Despicable Me and DM2 are possibly my most favourite films from the last few years, grown up films included, and laughter is the best cure for anything.
Good luck for the smear - won't be as bad as you are anticipating, and after all the interventions of having kids it is nothing.:)LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

I've just this minute stopped - we arrived back from York at exactly 5pm for the party, and I've just got the littlies off to bed. Bits of tears from both as they are just sooo tired, bless 'em.
I'm finishing the sandwiches we started in the museumthen I'll check we have everything ready for school. After that a hhc then I'll get the kettle on...

Sorry, bossy! For everyone elses benefit I must explain that I don,t have a smartphone that picks up FB or PMs, and bossy,s phone decided it was in a dead zone  The rest of us spent a little while leaning on the turntable barrier admiring the Hogwarts Express
before going back to the cafe where we met up with bossy and the little moos. The five of us who made it to the NRM talked nonstop for 3hours, and I for one very much enjoyed meeting the others. Thank you all for coming!
Now about 7 miles from home -a good journey at the end of a very good weekend
I second that - we had a lovely chat! Glad to hear that you are nearly home!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Welcome new Flyers; you'll love it here.
Yay! Going with the Wolfy mantra, then: "If in doubt, turf it out!":DYou're not my long-lost sibling, are you by any chance?:D You just described me, except I don't have a son, just a DH.:o Such is my aversion to phones that I leave the room if DH is using the phone! Don't worry, we're all as mad as a box of frogs here.;)
Not a happy Wolf today, really; the coffee filter machine has turned up its toes. Now, if you know anything about me, you'll know I can't start the day until I've had at least my second mug of coffee. Anyways, we managed to source a replacement in Argoose, and Mr LW has just been down there to collect it, so at least I should be able to function tomorrow.:D Thing is, the toaster died a week or so ago (it's been replaced) so I wonder what the third appliance is going to be?
Piggers your Dad is younger than my DH. I hope he enjoys his birthday.:o
lol sounds like I might be just that! I cant do without my strong coffee either. My machine died just before Xmas - I took out the reusable filter basket, put it in my large insulated teapot and trickle water from the kettle into it. It often makes me smile when I pour myself a cup of coffee from a teapot! Incidentally, I've found I get stronger coffee and more of it doing it this way.
I finally finished my 2 week meal plan and Tesco shop ..not completely happy with the menu but its a start and I can adjust as I go along. I'm feeling rather pleased with myself ...have wanted to do this for such a long time, started many times but unable to finish - thankyou Flyladies for giving me the motivation :A0 -
Half heartedly bunged some stuff on ebay. I'll smarten up the listings and add postage during the week if I have time. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Hello flyladies  I'm back
Been flying while away, namely a mid-week sorting of dirty washing into whites, lights and darks into the empty suitcases, the final pack up to go home was a whole lot easier for it.
So now the cases have been dragged out into the utility earlier this evening and now the washing has started.
Valuable lessons have been learned:
1) daylight and warm air beats the BD into a shady kennel
2) I still fear flying and intensely dislike the whole experience
3) flying with blocked sinuses before you even get off the ground is a recipe for pain
4) mosquitoes love me, but taking 3 days to get brave enough to ask for room to be fumigated is too long
5) and there is no place like home
EX MiL has not destroyed or relocated too much in my absence.....apart from a missing phone charger all is well.
Group BD appointment tomorrow, so after that I will try and crack on with listy and get up to date with all the goings on
See you tomorrow :wave:The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Hi all
Glad the York meet went well. I was there in spirit.
Been a busy weekend. Have sorted some paperwork, done lots of washing, done the grocery shop and made a couple of cakes for the freezer. In the rush to finish DSs bedroom before Christmas we dumped some junk in the greenhouse and very reluctantly OH and I took a load to the tip this afternoon which felt like a big achievement. More to go though.
Why do I feel fed up at the moment? Everything just seems such hard work and I seem permanently tired. I did enjoy a long walk with doggie this afternoon in the sunshine though.
Happy Birthday Mumto5 and welcome daftbat, you are amongst friends. And well done on the mealplanning.
Off to get organised for morning and get in my jim jams. Might quickly run the hoover round the kitchen, its very dog hairy.0
