Thing is, the toaster died a week or so ago (it's been replaced) so I wonder what the third appliance is going to be?

I am trying to be a bit healthier with what I eat and weigh my cereal/ meals in general, its crazy how much I have been overeating. Hopefully in this year if my weight can gradually decreases then my neuro-consultant will stop trying to push me in to getting a shunt. He just wants to shave my hair I am sure of it lol.
HI Lozzy88, good for you. Just wondered if you'd tried My Fitness Pal - its a free website and there's a mobile phone app. It helps you track your calories and exercise (:rotfl:) and keeps you on track. You don't have to share the info with anyone, unless you want to. I just use it to keep me responsible to myself - if I eat more than I should I put it there and it's no more than a reminder that I shouldn't. Worth a shot?
And flying wise I have done nothing yesterday or today. Was feeling rough yesterday and had a v quiet day other than getting boys those haircuts that I'd prevaricated about all week, and today I've just faffed. Have done some Instagc and Neobux but that's it, I never find it easy to fly on the weekends when the mess-makers are here.
Lamewolf hope your celebrations were/are lovely. My kettle and iron and then my vacuum cleaner all gave up the ghost since Christmas. Thankfully Instagc provided enough dull and boring tasks to get them replaced, and the vacuum cleaner only needed a new hose. For the lady who's Dys()n gave up, I have a H3nry and he's very good if you don't have a lot of stairs.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Quite a successful day. Two lots of bedding dried on the line, I need to hoover a mattress and get those remade in a bit. All cardboard from the garage recycled at the shops along with a bag for the clothes bin. Just one box of stuff from the garage left to sort and decide.
DS1 helped me in the garden for a bit. Lots more 'heavy' pruning to do but CBA with the dump atm so doing it one wheelie bin at a time.
Couple more bits got for DS3, need to get one more thing tomorrow.
Ebay listing still to do, after dinner I think and DS3 wants us to finish his book tonight, about 30 pages I think. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Just about to do a HHI if anyone wants to join me :j

Ironing done
Walk with DS2 & DH (no moaning until nearly home this time) We saw a house for sale that would suit us. I checked when we got home and discovered it was overpriced so probably too much for us. We have a neglected boarded up house next door so we may have difficulties with selling. We are going pretend we are moving and do big decluttering and then get a valuation.
Butternut squash soup made (I have lovely orange hands now)
Roast dinner made and eaten DH is clearing away now.
DS2 bathed
Welcome to the new ones x0 -
Just done one. All line dried washing now airing on the maiden:D
DS and DS'sGF taken to train station. Heating in DS's room OFF. Door closed.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Thank you I have been using it for the last year on and off hoping that something magical will happen and the weight will drop off without changing my eating habits :rotfl:
This is my second week of weighing my food and I have lost 11lb I know now it will slow back down but if I can walk the dogs a bit more and just in general move it should be a bit easier. My ideal weight is 8st and I am almost double that!!!
Flying wise I have WUDUPA x3 and done 1xWM. I have my first ever smear on Tuesday..... now I am going to make myself look useful and stop watching despicable me.
I hope the meet went well.0 -
Thank you for the welcome
YORKSHIRELASS - you are right, a little every day will be the best way to keep on top of the house. OH has agreed to be in charge of cleaning floors, but we will see how often he does it!
Today I have done 4 washings, a pile of ironing and some de-cluttering of stuff lying about since our house move last week. I have also managed to de clutter a few chocolates leftover from Christmas
Got my homemade soup defrosting ready for work tomorrow, and just about to make up sandwiches for the week ahead. I've been off work this week on holiday, so tomorrow will be a shock to the system!
Bye for now xxAll you need is less0 -
Am sat here alone in the mallard cafe
Sorry, bossy! For everyone elses benefit I must explain that I don,t have a smartphone that picks up FB or PMs, and bossy,s phone decided it was in a dead zone  The rest of us spent a little while leaning on the turntable barrier admiring the Hogwarts Expressbefore going back to the cafe where we met up with bossy and the little moos. The five of us who made it to the NRM talked nonstop for 3hours, and I for one very much enjoyed meeting the others. Thank you all for coming!
Now about 7 miles from home -a good journey at the end of a very good weekend0
