Cheery's buttling diary: tea in one hand, plant pot in the other, running shoes on

That sounds like a lovely day, Cheery! Erm, how many bananas do you still have left from that mega-buy?
I'm at the stage today where I can't put things off any longer, I've got to wrap presents ... thats still better than writing cards tho :j Love the idea of knitting a pressie to take with me on the day2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
They're all cut into pieces so difficult to know how many, but I just checked and there's 8.5 takeaway-size tubs of them left
:rotfl: :rotfl:
Just went through emails and unsibscribed from a load of promotional email lists, been meaning to do that for ages! IN the process found a body shop voucher for 40% off so got a couple of Christmas presents and a free tub of moisturiser for me for £10.80 :j
Just er, need to do a couple of things on the actual list now:rotfl:

Right.
Rang ISA people - and sounded like an absolute idiot as I remembered my own security information once I was on the phone so they had no need to do anything:rotfl: :rotfl:
Transferred £4300 into ISA  Feels a little tiny bit scary - have to give 30 days notice to get it back, but we've allowed for that and have enough in the other bank to cover emergencies so it's probably best we can't get at it!
Right, knitting!0 -
I really hate security info/questions. They say "make it something memorable" then when I come to use it I'm like "Did I use mother's maiden name? Kiddie's DOB's? First school? Name of first car? Dog's name? Colour of first bra?" then I lock myself out trying to guess what was most memorable to me at that particular time!!
Glad you got it sorted though. Good luck with your knittingGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
:rotfl: at colour of first bra :rotfl: :rotfl:
Had several calls from bank after transferring to ISA account this morning - just checking it was actually me. Of course it was - had to use my little card reader thing which meant they wouod have needed my internet banking login, card reader, debit card AND pin number... that would have been a very determined robber! :rotfl:
Had to buy bottle of water at the spin class today as i'd filled mine and then left it at homeThinking of setting up an 'idiocy' category in budget to trck how much I spend being an idiot...

If you are anything like me it would be quite high!!! :rotfl:Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Me too :rotfl: think of the £90 I spent recently to get a locksmith to open my house up, after I'd run out without my keys!
Security questions drive me dotty - I've got about £200 premium bonds, but they wanted a long password, 5 security questions and two forms of greeting to personalise my account page, it was madness.
I do like "colour of first bra" tho
And tubs of frozen banana chunks :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Glad it's not just me! :rotfl:
Well I did manage the rest of the day without spending anything else :j spin class, then walked over to visit pal and new baby (made her present, and used a card I already had), then walked home again.
Now I appear to have found myself in bed with a nice cup of tea again:rotfl: Getting to be a bit of a habit this week! :rotfl:

Cup of tea in bed at 8pm = Queen Of All She Surveys, I like it :j:j:j2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I liked it too
Although I did get up again later
Been Christmas shopping today  town was FULL of people and I cursed myself for not finishing it earlier
Still, mostly done now :j and I entered everything on YNAB app as i went alongAND i used my voucher and got a much-needed free tea and cake in John Lewis :j :j
Just got off bus and pavements are ludicrously icy :eek:0
