Cheery's buttling diary: tea in one hand, plant pot in the other, running shoes on

Aw, poor neglected diary! (well, I suppose only two days... but even so...) :rotfl:
So...
Sunday 12th
Oh dear, Sunday I was SO grumpy:rotfl: Spent £3 on a 'body fusion' class which I'm STILL suffering from  Such loud music, and such complicated ludicrous instructions!! At one point we were meant to be balancing just on our hands with our legs sticking out to the side  :rotfl: Only the teacher could do it :rotfl:
Needless to say, I won't be going back
Also scrubbed the kitchen carpet (free) and hacked at the stupid willow hedge (also free).
Walked to meeting on the other side of town, but spent £1.50 on deodorant, and I'm fairly sure at least £3 on treats:rotfl:
Ordered recycled blank cards and envelopes online - £12 for 48 of each :j That should cover quite a few birthday and christmas cards over the next few months :j
Mon 14th
Worked at home, and popped to work pal's house to collaborate for a bit (and have lunch) Lunch in cafe, £3.50, and a bit of cake too £1 :rotfl:
Slimming world in the evening, so £5 plus £6 on cereal bars, raffle and magazine
Tues 14th
Been in York, so would have been NSD but arranged to have a work meeting here
http://www.cedarcourtgrand.co.uk/
where a cup of tea is £3.50  Fortunately tea for two is £4.50 so that reduced the cost a bit, but even so
Just going to go back and add up the last couple of weeks worth of stuff...0 -
Goodness me, I've been well and truly got by the spendy elves this month!! :rotfl:
Just updated sig - seems I've had 5 official NSDs (mostly due to envelope use) and already spent ALL £170 of my fun budget  In a fortnight!!
17 days left til November starts and quite clearly I need a plan (and a boot up the backside...) :rotfl:

Ooh, that place looks nice, Cheery. Very, very nice
And less of the "stupid" to the willow hedge you planted with such care!!! Poor little willows, there they are, working hard for you day and night :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Fascinated by the blank cards and envelopes ... was that the bay of e?
Life sounds fun2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
It was a bit posh really for the likes of me KC :rotfl: But I could probably get used to it, if given the opportunity
Cards came from here (in the sale section). Probably could have got some from the other place if I'd been organised but sometimes I've been putting things off for so long I just have to do *something*!
Poor willow hedge indeed :rotfl: I like some things about it, but in reality it just grows too fast for my tiny garden and I've never managed to tame it properly. I need to do some proper figuring out of willow harvesting and basketry, clearlyIt's on the llist...
Working at home today, hard to get going...0 -
What an interesting site, thanks Cheery! I'm making designs for sale, as you know, but I do have ideas for sending my *own* cards, and something like that looks just right.
I'm about to log off, but I was wondering - how's the hot water? Is it all going so smoothly its just part of the routine now? Fab if so :j
Logging, logging, I'm going, I'm gone2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
:rotfl: at you fading out :rotfl:
Plumber is coming this Friday :j :j We decided that, since it's been broken for at least 9 years, it wasn't an immediate priority :rotfl: :rotfl:
Just need to get back on the everlasting quest for a decent roofer now - yawn.0 -
So... a day of working at home in which I got a whole lot of not-very-much done (but I did make some phone calls I've been putting off).
Then a nice evening meeting with sweetsand a lift home from a lovely cheery person :j
In my nightie now with hot water bottle
Just popped in to confess spends - just £6 on milk, grapes, loo roll and a sneaky bar of chocolate - which, thinking about it, can come out of the food budget so I'm going to officially declare today NSD number 6 :j :j0 -
 at spending all your fun spends already!! also to expensive cup of tea!! I had a cup of tea and 2 pieces of toast for 50p yesterday!!!
Off to look at the card section on the link you gave xGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
I don't usually hold with paying such extortionate amounts for tea!! But in this case I didn't have much choice. Won't be a regular feature I don't think. 50p is much more my style!!0

Just popping in to declare today NSD number 7! :j
Except I've just realised it isn't, becase I spent 85p on a chocolate bar at the train station  Silly girl (I was quite desperate though:rotfl: )
Ah well, some you win
In other news, got a free book through the post at work today :j Looked quite interesting but I was rather baffled as to why I'd got it (there was no note or anything) - until I realised I'd co-written a chapter in it :rotfl:
Rest of it looks pretty interesting, started reading it on the train:rotfl:
