Sounds like you have had a busy day Cheery.

How far is triathlon distance in the pool then? How many lengths does that equate to?

I hope you manage to get the ceiling done in order to accomplish something. Although sounds like you have done quite a bit anyway!

Yep, I'm with starnac - sounds like you'd already accomplished quite a bit - tiredness can certainly make *me* grumpy too :D

In my decluttering from the Understairs Cupboard Of Doom, I found a batch of old knitting needles - I thought I'd got rid of them all, and bought more :o but I'd stored these in the Monopoly box because it was long enough to take them. Of course, I've now had to throw out the Monopoly box because its died in storage, but at least I've saved the needles :D

  • Did someone say chickens......you'll find the right place. Somehow you just know.

    :)

    Hope the tiredness abaits.

Evening lovely people :hello: :kisses3: you lovely lot :D

Yes I did indeed get the edges of the ceiling plastered :j didn't get any further though... :rotfl: honestly I would get on SO much faster if I didn't have to go to work and wasn't trying to train for a triathlon AND half marathon :rotfl: :rotfl:

Speaing of which... triathlon swim is 500 metres starnac - my 2 local pools are 33m so that's 15 lengths, but most normal pools (and the one the triathlon is in) are 25m, so 20 lengths. We've put down we'll do it in 19 mins (that was the slowest time last year!) and I think I might be JUST near that time. I'm SO slow!! :o :rotfl: last years swim was only 400m and took 17 mins but I think Ive gt a teensy bit quicker...

Bike is 14 miles (i think) so I'm guessing just over an hour - last year was same distance and I did 1 hr 11 i think. It's a lot flatter than round here!! :rotfl:

Run is 5km -last year I did 32 mins but I've not managed a 5k parkrun in under 35 mins this year and that's without putting the other stuff on the front! :rotfl:

Still, a bit of race day competition sometimes works wonders :D

More worried about the half mrathon - triathlon is so varied it'll be over in a flash, but the half is just running and is likely to feel a bit more like an endless trudge :D I'dlike to get under 2.5 hours but that's my fastest ever time and I was 2 stone lighter back then... :o :rotfl:

    :D

    Still excited about chickens :D
  • Happy Birthday

That's what happens as you get older. One night on the wine leads to 5 days of recovery :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
