That sounds nice, and York must be such a beautiful place to go for a run
An' eeh bah gum (as my grandad used to say, honestly!) Scarborough! Also nice.
ETA - and, um, I see you weren't running in York, but getting a bus through. Oops! I still like the image, though, so I left it inHope the meeting went well.

Tee hee, thanks KC
I was indeed just getting a bus through York (and ambling through York yesterday) but it was very nice all the same

Veggies as a raffle prize! Love it!
We discovered that there is a local pub that has a local grassfed, organic, meat raffle after 9pm on a Friday! Almost past our bedtime so not sure if we'd ever go! Tempting as it is...

Well, they are trying to encourage us to eat healthily after all
:rotfl: But I'd take that as a raffle prize at any kind of raffle! :rotfl: :rotfl: How bizarre to have a meat raffle in the local pub though RT! :rotfl: Get yourselves down there, sounds like it might be worth it!
Just playing with YNAB, all buttling along nicely but got it in my head to check the energy bill which is on a DD and we were £300+ in credit so I'd been ignoring it :rotfl: Looks like we're down to £27 in credit after the winter  and they're recommending we put the DD up from £67 a month to £90 - I don't think so! Seems it's been roughly £130-150 for gas and electric for the last 3 or 4 months  so this coming month we might *have* to adjust the DD - £67 + £27 credit isn't going to cover that, and I can't imagine they'll like us being in debt:rotfl: But I'll wait til next month to do that, and if I can avoid it going up to £90 then I will!
Kind of accepted it being so ludicrous as we keep such odd hours here, although it's probably better now I'm not working from home. Mr cheery is often here during the day though and stays up quite late at night so heating is on for a long time - but that's not going to change so just need to keep an eye on it.
Not much else to report. Paid on Friday :j :j :rotfl: Love a shuffleGot about £30 of expenses to claim back - in fact probably knocking on for £90 now as not managed to do previous months yet! Some shennanigans with the two universities not talking to each other and nobody being sure who to claim what off. Will chase and sort it out!

Think of it this way Cheery - that 90 back from expenses could cover your first month of increased DD!!!:o4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Get those expenses in Cheery. Don't be like me and leave it for months. I've just put my bill for expenses in and it came to over £400 :eek:Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

Ah don't worry, I won't forget! I've been holding off waiting for a subcontract to be signed between old and new employer, but as Ihave to clain within 3 months of spending, I'll have to claim regardless soon and new job will just have to pay out and then they can pester old job for money rather than me pestering them0
