You're *so* focussed on all this, and its really taking you closer to where you want to be. And you just reminded me to put the washing machine on, as we've no rain forecast, and even some sun later on - got to take advantage of that, even halfway dry is better than nothing.

I can't remember the last time I moved the microwave to clean :o

I did indeed, and then fell asleep before the end of the programme we were watching :o Again :o I do that *so* often :o :rotfl:

Not much to report today. Had my first experience in an Uber :rotfl: Not sure how I feel about it - bloke failed to spot us and we ended up having to walk half way down the road to meet him for a start :rotfl:

Taken on doing the money for Al Anon meeting for 3 months - desperately trying to remember how I kept a real life cash book before YNAB :rotfl:

Sounds like you know *exactly* how you feel about Uber :p

As far as falling asleep in front of the tv goes - thats probably fine when you pack in as much as you do! Some people do that because they're bored, or don't get out of the house enough, I've seen enough of that in my time :) and I just *know* that thats not a problem of yours :rotfl:

    Have a good'un today :)

    Hi Stepup :hello:

Running outside is often harder than treadmill :) slightly different movements, you see, and the pavement's not actually moving so it's much easier to slow down (and in my case come to a complete halt...) I did half an hour on the treadmill the other day and it was quite a lot easier than the parkrun I did the other week! They do recommend setting the treadmil at a 1% incline to make it more comparable, but on this occasion I didn't :o :rotfl:

Just back from Most Cheerful no quibble weekend in a gorgeously spacious flat in Scarborough :j Had a marvellous time :j Mr Cheery just off for a nap so I'm going to give myself a kick up the backside and get out for a run!

Morning all. I must admit I find the treadmill so much harder than outside. It's so boring that I find myself imagining all these made up aches and pains. Mentally the treadmill kills me.

No quibble weekend sounds lovely. Did you go for a run after?

I did indeed go for a run! :j Just 3 miles, and it took pretty much 45 mins... so I'll need to speed up a tad :D But a good start :j

I always have a podcast to listen to on the treadmill (and outside) so it feels nice to have time to catch uo on Woman's Hour or whatever :D also like the little graphs on the screen and it makes me do intervals and make myself go faster so I can see the graph changing :rotfl: Probably wouldn't do lomger than half an hour though, and probably only once a week.

Lovely sunny day here and i'm on the bus through York for a meeting. Only a week to go til I'm off for a fortnight! :j :j
