urgh
Rescued a dish from the washing up bowl for breakfast - not sure why it was in their as it looked clean (just the tap had been dripping on it) and I DID do the washing up before bed last night, I promise!
Got most of the way down my porridge... and realised I'd already squirted washing up liquid into the bowl, and that 'water' was actually washing up liquid...:rotfl:
Idiot:rotfl: :rotfl:
Hope that's not going to be a sign for how the day is going to go... :rotfl:0 -
oh poor you! Start again with your day right now!!!Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:

Morning lovely chums :hello:
I am back after a whizzy trip on the Eurostar to Belgium :j :j Lovely to see my lovely friend, and travel uneventful other than being proper frisked at Eurostar check in as a result of stupid pedometer in my pocket...:rotfl:
Relatively frugal trip :money: Train tickets from home all the way to Brussels, plus travel insurance, came to less than £100 :j Got 100 euros (approx £75) out while I was there, but, er, £46 of that went on a new pair of shoes:rotfl: :rotfl: So just under £30 for a weekend of eating out, pastries, etc isn't too bad
:rotfl:
Working at home this morning, didn't get back til 9.30 last night and it was quite a lot of travelling!
YNAB done, having to move things between categories quite vigorously...:rotfl: Not accessing February's money til, er, February, although I was paid on 18th so it's all sat there waiting :j Trying to stick to calendar months for ease of planning etc :j
Quite looking forward to tax refund in next month's pay :rotfl:
Washing machine is on :j Also have to collect a parcel, post a couple of parcels for friend in Belgium (much cheaper to have me carry them back and post here!), pick up prescription, go to the office for a couple of hours later and do a spin class at 5  :rotfl: Stumped up for a year long gym membership though so best get on with making use of it, don't want to become a January Gym Idiot statistic!:rotfl:
Hope you're all in for a cheery one :j0 -
Sounds great
and yes, tres frugal
I do like Eurostar, very odd to go out of London that way, but very enjoyable. I've been frisked at the London terminal myself, "stand back 3 paces and keep still", all of that, when you know you're innocent you can observer the process, its quite interesting, really - Stephen Fry should do a thing on it :rotfl:

Ha, good suggestion re Stephen Fry, I quite agree!
Indeed a bargain :j I should go and see her quite often really, shes quite lonely, although another friend has recently moved an hour away so that helps
First trip to new gym today :j thinking of keeping a log of how much I use it but fear I might just be horrified at each spin class costing me about £36:rotfl: :rotfl:

Morning chums :hello:
Hope you're all goodI'm having a jolly weekend :j Friend round for tea on Friday evening, then spent yesterday on a plastering course :j so all enthused now
Went round to some friends' house for tea last night, and today I'm off to see my nan in hospital, and bizarrely enough, another woman who lived next door to my other grandma who is in the next ward...
First though, a tiny bit of gardening (in the drizzle, but I just haven't been here in the daylight for weeks!) and then a bit of painting. Busy busy.
Washing's on, banks sorted :j0 -
Morning all :hello:
Shiny new month :j :j :j YNAB has moved over to Feb, and it was cheerfully satisfying to see that I'd already filled in all the little categories when I got paid on the 18thWasn't sure how I'd react to being paid mid month but actually it means that I get to play with numbers on the 18th as well as at the start of the month
:rotfl: Technically didn't need to play today but it seems I just can't help myself
:rotfl:
Couple of savings categories not looking as healthy as I'd like but that should be sorted when I get the refund of the extra tax I paid last month. Only 18 days til payday! :rotfl: :rotfl:
Right, should probably go to work...:rotfl:
