Seconded. Although I'm sure they have by now. Hope meeting with boss wasn't too traumatic on your first dayGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Ha - boss came out and gave me a hug when I first arrived and told me how glad they all were that I was there :rotfl: :rotfl: So yes, first day went well
:rotfl: Feels like a lovely place, and I feel like I fit right in. Think I'm going to love it :j :j :j :j
Not impressed at having to take my own teabags mind you :rotfl: but it's kind of offset by not having to pay a total of £42 train fare a week  :rotfl:
Quite tired now :rotfl:0 -
Just been to slimming world - half a pound on, which isn't too bad - even combined with the 1.5lbs I put on last week
But I have eaten quite a lot over Christmas so it's well deserved
:rotfl:
Back on the case now though :j :j Might investigate the work gym tomorrowThere's no pool, but they do have some cheery classes at the end of the day and now might be a good time to start building a habit!

Thanks stressed mum
So much for me thinking I'd be early every day now I just work down the road - it seems with no specific arrival time and no train to catch, it's quite easy to lounge around in bed...Best leave in a minute though else I'll be feeling like I have to stay til 7pm! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hope you're there now! :rotfl:
SO pleased to hear it all went well and that most importantly you think you're going to love it - brilliant! :T With the amount of tea you drink are you absolutely SURE there will be a saving overall though...?!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Yes this should have been factored into the pros/cons of changing jobs :rotfl:
I usually find the closer you are to work, the later you arrive as you think "oh it'll only take me 5/10/whatever minutes to get there" and then you are latehope you are getting into a bit of a routine though
So glad you are enjoying it and everyone is lovelyGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Ha, I suspect even I can't drink £50 worth of tea every week!! :rotfl:
Yep, that's exactly what's been happening starnac, didn't get here til 9.15 today:rotfl: but nobody's counting as long as I get the work done. .
Speaking of which, off out to meet a friend for lunch:rotfl:

Ok, goal today is to get to work before 9am
:rotfl: In a couple of weeks I'm regularly going to have to be there at 9am on a couple of days, so might as well start forcing myself now
:rotfl:
Gosh, it's like being a student again:rotfl: Except I was quite capable of getting up early back then
Seems no end to the amount I can sleep these days!!
:rotfl:
Pay day in 10 days :j Can't wait to play about with new budget :j :j Although I will have only been working for 2 weeks, and don't know whether that means I'll be paid just for those two weeks, or for the entire month. Guess I'll find out! :rotfl:
Other things to do today...
- ring hairdresser - not had hair cut since before interview in early October
- ring mortgage woman at bank - just need to check the system for actual salary again, I think it's slightly higher than what they originally offered because of the new year (or something) :j
- ring estate agent and change valuation to a day time appointment - we don't have good lighting in this house!! :rotfl:
Right, best get out the door!0
