So - last day 17th Dec :j so 35 working days left  Lots to do! Some stuff I'll be carrying into new job so not just about finishing off in a straightforward way, but new job will be a LOT busier at certain times (and quieter at others) so need to be prepared

Thank you lovely ladies, still can't quite believe it! :j :j :j
New boss rang again today - said 'do you still want to come and work for us?' Yes of course I do!!
Was all prepared to do salary negotiating but straight off he offered me £1200 a year more than I'm on now so didn't really feel the urge :rotfl:
So between that, the lack of commuting costs, and working 5 days a week instead of 4, we should be over £500 a month better off    :j :j :j
Won't lose much between jobs either - this one finishes 31st dec officially and next one starts 4th Jan so only 3 days :j :j Although last day in the office is 17th Dec - 38.5 working days to go!!0
