    well now it's Thursday interview *is* tomorrow so you're right :D Thank you! :j

    Went out with a couple of colleagues last night who quizzed me about all kinds and helped me refine presentation :j Just got to make slides today, and other stuff - I feel a list coming on...

    * make slides
    * practice presentation a million times in front of Mr Cheery and anyone else who'll listen
    * make 'further reading' handout (possibly)
    * try on outfit again, find spare tights
    * sort out insoles!
    * find passport, phd certificate etc
    * tidy up folders on memory stick so it doesn't look stupjd when I plug in for presentation :D
    * finish investigating existing staff and their interests
    * list answers to potentially awkward interview questions people have told me to prepare for
    * practice presentation (again, and again)
    * get Mr Cheery to ask me awkward interview questions so I can say answers out loud so I'm not stumbling over them in interview :o
    * shower, wash hair, cut nails, clear nail varnish
    * figure out what to do with my wayward hair tomorrow
    * make sure I've got change for cafe in case I need it - they've invited us to stay for lunch (buffet I think) but my interview finishes well before - going to judge on day but if i'm goig to hang round I'll need tea!
    * print interview schedule so I know where I have to be and when
    * plan nice healthy breakfast for tomorrow
    * pack bag (that's a good point - which bag am I going to take?!)

    Arrgghh! :eek: Is that enough to be going on with do you think?! :eek:

    Presentation HAS to be main focus, and then second is interview questions, then finishing investigating other staff (I've done the interview panel)

    Can't imagine I'm going to be judged on whether I'm wearing clear nail varnish or not so mustn't get sidetracked by unimportant details! :eek: :rotfl:

    Gosh I SO much want this job :o Fretting just thinking about it but all I can do is be super well prepared and do my best and if they still don't want me then it's their loss I suppose. Aarrgghh!

    Thank you lovely folks :D If only you were my interview panel! :D :rotfl:

    I know I can do a good job and that is a comfort - I'm just slightly worried about my ability to convince them of that... :rotfl: Also they're interviewing quite a few of us so it'll really depend on the competition!

    which I can't do a single thing about so should just stop fretting and focus on myself...

    Best of luck, Cheery, I'll be rooting for you. You're conscientious and thoughtful, if you let your real qualities come through, you should be at the top of their list.
