I can only hope I don't make a giant mess of it :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    :D

Right, stopping work now, got a bit giddy anyway so probably time to go and have something to eat!

Calmed down a bit today :D

Doing some accidental decluttering at the minute :D We're both gravitating towards different jobs as we sort out the house - I've taken over the bathroom and the garden, Mr cheery is sorting the workshop and the entrance. Except both of those seem to involve putting all manner of things into all kinds of other places too  :rotfl:

Mr Cheery dismantled a cupboard yesterday and I must say the entrance looks MUCH better without it :j Of course, it was crammed full of stuff - most of which I managed to put in the recycling :o :rotfl: Out of two completely stuffed drawers I'm just left with a tiny pile of postcards and blank greetings cards (and Christmas cards :rotfl: ) to turn into a 'correspondence station' in the attic :j

(or, more accurately, to put in a pile on the attic floor til I get round to it :o :rotfl: )

Few more things to throw away out of there but I didn't want to get started on that before I started work today!

Quite excited about getting started on the paperwork etc in the attic but at the minute it's the only place that's still vaguely in order and I don't want to mess it up til I've got another room back! Especially as I work up here and I'm distracted enough at work at the minute without trying to work in a building site :o :rotfl:

Got a couple of meetings this afternoon, both cheery and one in a cafe :D :j Best crack on this morning though - plenty to do before then! :j

Have a good one folks :j

Oh, thats true - its not great to have *every* room in a mess - I took ages to unpack in this house, because of the building work that needed doing, and it was horrible! And also, I've had to accept I'm actually very untidy :)

Yep, me too :rotfl: :rotfl: I'm a lot happier when I'm not trying to live up to someone else's standards! :rotfl:

Mr Cheery just buttled off to the solicitors to have an ID form signed for the land registry, and then we can FINALLY get the forms sent off to have me added to the house deeds :j :j

Might seem a bit daft if we're selling but (a) we might not and (b) this means I can deal with all the estate agents etc if we do, not him, and (c) psychologically it's very nice to share :D

Currently planning which half of the kitchen will be mine :D :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Tiny little things, right down by the floor :D :rotfl:

Had a call from the dentist this morning - there's been a cancellation so I'm having my tooth pulled out at 10.30 tomorrow morning  :j Can't decide whether I'm excited or not :rotfl: Darn pleased to get the damn thing out!

Going to see another couple of houses in the afternoon  I'll be it for nowt after that!

Saturday morning got a bloke coming to quote for some work on the roof and some plastering (although he didn't sound too sure about the plastering :rotfl: ). Then my mum's coming, we're taking the allotment association tools to the Repair Cafe to have new handles put on them. Sunday we're taking the giant roll of weed suppressant to the allotment, and then a load of stuff from my house to the tip.

Then I'm sending my mother home and going to sleep for about a fortnight i think :rotfl:

Good grief! I think I'd want to hibernate after that lot! And the very best of British luck to you, Cheery. Phew ....

:rotfl: I rather feel like hibernating BEFORE all that lot!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Remembered I'm meeting some folk on Tuesday about a project for my diploma thingy and have some prep to do for that - goodness knows when! Might have to pull myself together tomorrow and hope gaping hole in mouth doesn't cause me too much trouble...

Tooth out :j :j (except I'm not meant to be exercising so perhaps just :D ) :rotfl:

Much better than my last experience which involved a student dentist, 9 needles, 2 hours, and then real dentist yanking it out with his knee on my chest

This time it practically fell out as soon as he touched it, and the most dramatic thing that happened was that he couldn't get hold of it properly with the instrument and had to grab it with his fingers. Not that exciting really!

Back home and on the sofa within half an hour :j A bit sore but nowt to write home about. Apparently it'll probably bleed quite a bit as I have non-adrenaline injections so I'm just hoping I don't look too much like a vampire for these house viewings this afternoon... :rotfl:

:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:Oh Cheery! He had to grab it with his fingers? That is a *bit* exciting - i.e., properly dramatic

Good thing you're sat with your feet up right now.

I was just thinking about all the improvement work you're doing - even if you decide not to move, you're going to have improved your living standards no end by all the stuff you've done, between decluttering and actual home improvements :j:j:j (very gentle - in fact, I'll do the star jumps for you, you stay on the sofa :) ).
