I was trouted in MnS this morning using my 2nd 2 coupons

(No SS tills and only 2 trouts serving).
I placed them on the belt, and asked the SA to see if they worked before I bought the biscuits (following a tip on here), but he ignored me and scanned the biscs anyway, then said I couldn't use the 2 coupons together as it says so on the back.. I just left the food. :mad:

1p items - my stores all get lurkered so think I'll give it a miss - but saying that, the big one does have the new scanners I did an M&S shop earlier before work. Am quite getting used to posh food in the fridge all the time

Morning to all. Hugs to Sarah and her sister. Such sad news, reminds me to not sweat the small stuff, there's people with real heartbreak out there

Sat here inside watching the pouring rain. Waiting for my neighbour to come round and walk Alfie. All those times I sadly put on my waterproofs to go out, now I'd love to be able to get out. Haven't left the house since Friday, miss getting outside, but loving all the time to be MSE!

That did mean I had a row with OH. I've spent my time off looking in detail at various bills/ outgoings etc checking we're on the best deal. The type of hting I've been meaning to do for ages but rarely get the time. Anyway, came to a head with the BT bill, its all fine but my OH had sorted out the account and took my checking as a criticism of his decision. He snapped at me 'you're just obsessed with saving money!'

And that brings me in a roundabout way to what I get from this forum... I dont have any friends or family that get being MSE, I've tried to explain some of the deals and offers and they just look at me blankly. So finding you guys means I dont feel like a freak, and I'm not alone. It's not just getting the lowdown on deals, but having people to share victories with
