Ooh, Good news!
I just found out that Quidco works on the works computers! Wahey!
I've been trying to use quidco for agos, but my home computer really doesn't like it so I have just had to ignore it, but it seems that work accepts all their advert based links that my own computer doesn't. I'm really excited about this. I've been really frustrated recently and have been feeling like I haven't been getting anywhere, so this is brilliant news for me.
So anyway, Tete, any room in your suitcase? I can squeeze into quite a small space..... :cool:0 -
Cool good to hear that it works. I'm lucky and work seem to accept most of them, I have a few links that are banned, but the main site is ok.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0

Morning all,
Well I have made a good start to my challenge. Listed a bunch of stuff on eBay and so far this week have made about £90 and still some auctions to finish. Will be doing some more listing tonight. I also have £6 in my £2 pig, making my first week total towards the challenge £95.60.
:j
Hope you are all fine.

Well Done, that's a great start!
I've managed to cut down my spending this week, so things are looking good for pay day on Friday. Will be about to update everything properly then.

At last I've got over £50 in paypal from ebay sales! I think I'll leave it there until after payday though as I'm really_skint_spice this month and can see it getting absorbed into the everyday expenses otherwise.Mortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I that's sort of what I have been doing, any money I've made this month has been paid into savings. The way it is separate to my main account and it will actually go towards paying off my OD.
I can appreciate being really skint this month.... It's not been fun, but I have promised this will be the last time it will be this bad!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
some of the extra expenses have been unexpected but it's due to my own stupidity that I forgot DS was back at school next week and didn't budget for the childcare. still kicking myself but still I'll manage it without being overdrawn, I just need to cut back a bit but in previous years it would have been out with the CC and overdrawn bank account. Could be worse!Mortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

This is very true, it could always be worse. Mine is similar (although no kids) But it's fixable.
I just need to get my head down and do something about it!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Right, had to revise my figures a little cuz I've confused the hell out of myself
Therefore, new target is in sig, but resetting what I have paid off to £0..... had to fess up to some extra debt, so the figures have changed, and now I'm lost
So, even tho I have paid off £847.57 since I started the challenge, I'm going back to £0 so I know what I'm at!!!
I'm so easily confused:eek:

Hello everyone, I would love to join this challenge!
I am new to this site and this is my first post. I have been reading a lot of the threads and when I saw this one is made me decide to join as I have been thinking about clearing some debt by December.
I have choosen three priority debts that I want to clear:
Credit Card - £376.00
HFC HP - £125.00
Next Catalogue - £740.00
This is going to be very difficult as I am currently on maternity leave so my wages are gradually reducing each month and there isnt much spare left after bills etc. My baby is 1 week overdue so any day now we will have a newborn (great way not to spend money as we will be slightly busy!!)
I have a couple of ideas to top up the small amount of payments that I can make from my wages - I have an old phone to sell on ebay and I am going to have a look for some other things to sell too.
I also have a credit card charges reclaim pending at the moment for £647.00 which would take away a massive chunk of the debt - I dont want to rely on this money however as there is no guarantee that I will get it back.
I have noticed a couple of people talking about completing surveys on websites etc???? Is this any good?
If so it might keep me occupied whilst I am sitting waiting for the baby to make its appearance!
If anyone else has any other ideas for helping me reach my total I would be very grateful!!!
Good luck everyone x0
