  • It doesn't look too bad actually, it's all choppy and different lengths anyway. And I'm going to be out of the country for a while now anyway!!

Yikes IA - better get going with that Citi card then - soon be September!!

Lucy, my hair really isn't too bad, if I do say so myself. I'm off to Dublin then a little village near Bordeaux (tho in my experience the French provinces aren't half as chic as Paris so I think I'll be ok!)

Well it's about as moneysaving as you can get: my friends' rich parents have a house in France so just the flights and car hire to pay for. Unfortunately said friend is Irish so I've got my flights over there as well. Should be fairly cheap once I'm there, it's going to be a relaxing holiday rather than a shopping/clubbing/sightseeing type holiday so should nicely recharge my batteries before September (I work in a uni) without costing too much! Yay!

You're away for the bank hol aren't you - it'll be a break at least. I love getting away even if it's just to visit friends in Manchester or somewhere... although I guess a stressful Meet the Parents type weekend isn't quite the same!!

It shouldn't be that bad (hopefully)

But his Dad was a major in the Army (so sounds scary!) his Mum is very mothery apparently (in a must have cake with everything kind of way  )

Although it was mentioned in passing at the weekend, that his sisters may pop in. He knew sister 2 was coming over on Saturday, but sister 1 is now contemplating it as she doesn't want to be the only one who hasn't met me!!!!

But I think there will be day trips and lots of BBQ's if the weather is nice, so hopefully it will be nice and relaxing (and I'll be able to stuff myself!)
