  • I see DooYoo are replying to people on Facebook now and saying that improvements will come 'after Easter'. It looks like the ability to post reviews has been shut down for everyone (nothing posted for well over 24 hours now), so it looks like they are just accepting that the site will be down for a bit. Bizarre way to do business, but at least I suppose we know not to expect any change for a while!

    Hello lovely people.

Can I ask if your able to delete reviews you have made on dooyoo? x Or would you need to delete profile and start again?

I used to love using the site but when my hours increased at work I didn't touch the site and let my miles expire.

However three years on I have come back to it and now want to delete some poor reviews I done and start a fresh .

    Any ideas what to do?x

You could ask them, they might be interested in deleting them if they are particularly bad. Alternatively you can re-write the reviews but obviously you won't get paid again.

I still haven't had my £50 bank parent, everybody keeps mentioning Amazon vouchers and nothing about cash payouts. I'm really worried!! I sent them an email shortly. I will seriously be fuming if I don't get it, I worked hard for that!

I'll be in the same boat as you sarahj - I'm nearly at £50 and wanting to cash out, not get Amazon vouchers. Having said that, I can't quite get the last few hundred points because although I have the reviews written and waiting, it's gone back to giving the 404 error / page not found when you try to submit! Grrrrr

You and be both. So annoying that no progress at all has been made in the last week to get this fixed. I try every other day - have tried multiple browsers but still get that 404 error when I submit.
  • well it took nearly 2 months but I finally got my £20 amazon voucher.... think its bye bye from me....really cant be bothered after this whole fiasco x

Firstly I hope it really does come and secondly there is usually a cut off for the payment 'run' as they have to get two people to sign off the payments.

Hope I am wrong of course but I've had a few thousand from Dooyoo so I know how they work (when they work!).

Hi everyone, I think I've decided to join Ciao, and I know a lot of familiar dooyoo friends who post on here are also on Ciao. I was always reluctant to do both as dooyoo took up so much of my time to do fairly & properly, but now I have a bit of time again, I'm finding I miss my writing & reading (and earning!)

A bit of advice please... I don't want to take advantage on the site, but can I bring my old reviews over from dooyoo or is that frowned on?

Also, any of you who have recently gone over to Ciao, how are you finding it? Is earning potential similar to dooyoo?

Finally, I can't see a ciao thread on here, so apologies if I've missed it and this post should be in there!

    Thanks in advance :)

ETA: I have just seen a comment on dooyoo's Facebook page saying that some of the problems are impacting on ciao... are the two sites linked? Maybe not a good idea to join there either then :'(

Ciao and Dooyoo are owned by the same company, but as far as I know aren't linked in any other way.

The earning potential on Ciao can be good....and yes you can cross-post your Dooyoo reviews over there, but a good idea to say in your pasting that it's copied over or adapted or whatever.

Ciao's site can seem a bit confusing at first, but once you learn to make sense of it, it's probably overall more logical than the old Dooyoo site, and far, far more logical than Dooyoo's revamp.

    Good Luck!
