Well life has been pretty tough at times over the last few years. I had to give up the job I loved to stay at home full time to care for my son who has serious health problems. I am still a carer but have now got 2 part time jobs that I am able to fit around my son (just).
So I guess I value things more these days. I have a husband who loves me, friends and family around and we have a home of our own. We dont have loads of money but we get by. My sons health still isnt great and I have no idea what the future holds for him but we take each day as it comes.
So yes I am happy. Oh and I am in my early 40s!0 -
I have a lot to be thankful for; children who are doing well and are happy, a happy loving marriage after 32 years, a job I love, a DH who is happy in his job, an extended family who are well and happy, and connected to us all. A Mil who is the last of the grandparents still with us, and who is active in the lives of her grandchildren, and loved by them all.0

This is a BIG happy: My lovely daughter has just rung to tell us we have a new granddaughter
. She only went into hospital at 4 ish, so we didn't expect to hear anything until tomorrow :T
Mum and baby are both very well, and big sister (2) has been a little angel and is fast asleep upstairs :A0 -

Congratulations, Alikay! That was quick....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
