Tudor crisps Gammon and Pineapple crisps were my favourite, I can only find Brannigans Beef and Mustard that are anywhere near as nice.
Spooky spoons, I was just going to post about Secret bars then I saw your post. I remember the filling being almost marshmallowy- yum.
I also wish you could still get Cartoonies- I loved them. It looks like a few people still yearn for them https://www.facebook.com/pages/BRING-BACK-CARTOONIES-BISCUITS/112753902102826.
Also does anyone remember mint Ferrero Rocher? The middle was liquid mint and they were amazing.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
I found Old Jamaica a couple of weeks ago in B&M, still the taste I remember.
The wrapper has changed quite a bit
The original chocolate was a mix of milk and plain. It doesn't taste quite the same with the Bournville chocolate, but not too bad.
Fry's used to make a "Milk Sandwich" bar - 2 layers of milk choc with a layer of plain in between - and a "Plain Sandwich", 2 layers of plain choc with a layer of milk choc in between. Gorgeous.
Can you tell I like chocolate :rotfl:
Oh and when I lived in Scotland years ago I used to get Duncan's hazel nut chocolate. Much smoother than C@dbury's.0 -
Cremola Foam. Toast Toppers, savoury straws, although Im sure my local shop does sell toast toppers, just not the pizza flavour.0

The thing I looked forward to most receiving was Cheez Whizz - a cheese spread in a jar made, I think, by Kraft. It had a multitude of uses - sandwich filling, spread on toast and browned under the grill, thinned down as cheese sauce etc. I can almost taste it now! It never did make it's way over here much to my dismay!
You can however get Squeezy Cheese (bought as a small teenage bad decision in asda many moons ago, now seemingly available in tesco https://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=268734936)
Not having had Cheese Whiz I'm not sure how similar it is though, apart from the colour0 -

It does sound similar but I think I will keep my pleasant memories of Cheez Whizz intact and pass on that!!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
JackieO, I have a net shopping bag - I got it in M&S of all places. It's great for fruit and veg, just keeps getting bigger and bigger and is always the right shape for the contents!
I struggle to find Quaker Oat Crisp, used to be called Oat Crunch, lovely littly oaty pillows. Small bottles of San Pellegrino (not very MSE).
I've never found stardrops locally.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
