  • Morning world

Today I have hit the £3000 mark of overall savings for my holiday!! I'm so estatic as I've never saved £30 let alone £3000! This has covered suitcases, passport, travel insurance, bits & bobs for the holiday, some of the trips when we're there, the hotel and of course the flights.

There's still a heap of money to be saved as I hadn't actually thought of some of the bits I've needed however this has been a massive boost to me to know that not only have I managed to save so much money but that I can do it again if I wanted to. Although next time hopefully not taking nearly 10 years to do it lol!

Not much else to report except I've done my weekly mystery shop this morning. Oh I lie! The training that I wasn't looking forward to yesterday was a success and he's booked me in for a further 2 sessions next week so there's another £20 to go into the pot.

Have a massage booked today which is from my birthday vouchers so I'm really looking forward to that.

    Operation Wetsuit

Today's decision has been to do Operation Wetsuit. I'm doing this with Whitefeather and anyone else is more than welcome to join us. I'm restarting the 30 day squat challenge and 30 day abs challenge with the plan to continue with them after 30 days. I started these a few weeks ago and was feeling fab but last Thurs felt too tired & drained to do anything and unfortunately haven't done any since. However, this has been a good thing as I now realise how cr*ppy I feel and that I want to feel how I did before, but all the time. I'll also be doing walks and some exercise on my Wii Fit too. I will look good in that wetsuit next year, I will, I will!! I think the best day to start is on Monday as it's the first of December so is a good time. Although being healthy & all that over Christmas may not be the best idea! lol

Right, best I get some work done. Have a great day everyone :) xx

  • I will take a look at that site thanks Sassy. I am loving my dodo pad. Do you use your family diary and the online site? How does that work? I still haven't got my organisational skills finely honed, but they are improving so I would love some more inspiration here!

As for Operation Wetsuit, I love that idea! We could go for a joint challenge and anyone else who wanted to could join in too. What do you think it should look like.

    TTFN x.

    Hey hon

Yes I do use my family organiser but I only use the one hanging on my wall as I need to be able to see it whenever I want - and I like Littley being able to see what's going on too.

Have written on your thread about Operation Wetsuit and also a blurb about it on my other post today. Fancy starting it on Monday and going from there? Take a look at my suggestions and make any of yours too and lets get Spiderwoman and Wetsuitwoman fit! :) xx

  • Hi Sassy, yes I love the plan and think we should aim for three sessions of any type of exercise a week too, that last 30 minutes or longer, and track those. The more varied the better.

£3,000 saved is absolutely brilliant, :T:T:T. How many days left until you fly out? Time for another £1,000?

What does Wetsuitwoman look like? I need to see a picture:).

  • Hey hon

I can't work out how to put a picture on here, how do I do it?

I agree that 3 sessions of exercise a week should be done, whether it's walking, swimming or wii fit/DVD or whatever. If we start on Monday we can post what we've done each day. I'm more than happy to do it on my thread.

Holiday is only 116 days away, just shy of 4 months. Trying not to think about it to much but it can't be helped!

Have a great evening :) Xx

  • Well done with the savings, I would join you in the challenge except for the arthritis and fibromyalgia.....and the age factor, walking in a straight line without a walker, is about all I can manage these days but I will be cheering you on from the sidelines.

You need to be nice and trim for your trip to Oz.

  • Morning

Got paid today so have paid mortgage, payments towards debts and the obligatory extra earnings into the pot.

Am taking Mother to her 6 month check up today which, although a few weeks early, has come round ridiculously fast! Sure all is ok but will be happy once it's over.

Whitefeather: Not able to paste anything on here for some reason which is annoying as I have the best picture of WetsuitWoman.

Csarina: I think you have a valid excuse and will appreciate any encouragement along the way!

    Operation Wetsuit

To buy a new body brush today and enjoy the last few days of indulgence!

Right, have to go, was just a quickie today. Have a great day everyone :) xx

  • I love step one, I will look out my body brush too. Really enjoy your few days of indulgence because Csarina and I will be watching you from Monday;).

You are going to be looking and feeling amazing when Australia welcomes you!!

  • Morning all

So today I am feeling quite queasy as I have an actual face-to-face interview which I haven't done in many a year. And by face-to-face I don't mean via video conferencing, I mean I actually have to drive somewhere and meet someone, in person!! It's ridiculous how nervous I am but fingers crossed it will go well.

I also have to do my mystery shop today which I should really get my butt in gear to do. Unfortunately I've been lagging today as I had to change my ringtone to my Christmas tone and so spent a while trying to work out how to do it on an iPhone (if it isn't a ringtone they make it really hard!)

Our house is now quite a few stages further in our countdown to Christmas. The tree & decs were put up last night although Littley was very disappointed as Christmas isn't officially here until we see the Coca-Cola advert. Still we forged ahead and it came on as we were turning on the tree lights - much joy for Littley at seeing it and huge joy for me watching her jumping around the room shouting "it's here it's here!!" Small traditions but worth it. Holding her up to put the star on the top of the tree is another tradition but it took a few attempts as she's getting a bit big now! But we did it. Soon she'll be lifting me to do it I'm sure lol

    Operation Wetsuit

Operation Wetsuit begins today and I'm actually looking forward to it. I drove to school which is annoying but is something that will continue until I'm a Celeb finishes as we have to watch that in the morning before we go anywhere! However I have done the squats and abs challenge.

    How have you done Whitefeather?

Right, well better get a move on or I'll be late for everything!

Have a good day everyone :) xx

  • I really hope that the interview went well and that you nailed the job.

I have done my squats and abs challenge too today, and I am sure that I will see the benefit of it by month end.

I was surprised that the squat challenge started off at 50, I thought that amount would be the finishing line figure..
