Hiya
Thanks, I felt supersassy! lol
I've not heard of them so I'll go and take a look this evening. I'm now off to get Littley from afterschool club, take her friend home, take her to gymnastics, go do my driving job, come home & do dinner. Well I say do dinner. Yesterday's roast dinner leftovers in the slow cooker with home made stock so it'll be stew tonight. Lovely!
Have a great evening honxx

It sounds like yesterday evening would have had to be run like a military operation to ensure you were at the right place at the right time. Did it all go to plan?:shocked:Training Loan - £1300.00/£1,500 (13%), Halifax CC 300.00/£925.00 (31%), OS Weight loss 7.0lb/24lb (29%), Extra inc Nov £220, Dec £532.00, Jan Ex Inc target £200.00. Hiya
Yes, it did actually although I must admit there were a few minutes of worry on my part at gymnastics as I had to leave early & so my parents had come to watch & take Littley home. But traffic was bad and so they were late. Wasn't sure what to do as I had her bag but fortunately they flew in like a couple of geriatric superheroes and I was able to zoom off for my driving gig.
Yesterday I sold some boots on Gumtree, did the driving gig and got a refund from the gym (wasn't able to do a class a few weeks ago due to the fire alarms going off) so yesterday I was able to add an extra £28.25 into the pop for relatively very little effort. That's the sort of bonuses I like!
Today I've got a meeting at 11 then I'm off to do a mystery shop the other side of the city. Should be back in time to collect Littley and her friend from school. Cheap and easy dinner tonight, pitta bread pizzas. Fortunately one of our favourites and works out around 11p a pizza. As we have 3 each that's a grand spend of 66p on dinner tonight. Oh hang on, pudding as well - that's an icecream from the freezer which are 12p each so tonight's dinner is 90p. Can't argue with that!
Have a great day everyonexx

Hi Sassy,
Here is another one that might be worth applying for. I was offered a three day job promoting baked goodies at S**nsbury's, at the end of the month, which would have paid £240.00.
I said that I was not available, but I recommended a friend who was desperate for some extra Xmas cash. They phoned her, signed her up and she's really pleased.

Hi hon
Thanks for the heads up. They've nothing on there at the moment in their search area but will take a look often just in case. You never know!
I've made a payment today towards cat2 and have amended the figure to what I think it roughly is. I know I should wait until I have an exact figure but wanted to do it today. I've also got the money through from the boring job and have put some across today. I wanted to put the whole lot across but am pretty brasic this month and thought I'd have to take some back but by putting it across in 3 lumps I can put the whole lot across. Saying that, I'm still going to be up the creek towards the end of the month but by the magic of juggling I think I'll be ok. Sometimes I put the extra few quid I make in a few days or weeks later just to tide things over. I'm hoping that I'll have saved enough by end February at the latest so that 1) I'm not stressing any more & 2) I'll be able to leave without worrying that I've got to juggle money when I'm away. Oh I hate not having enough but when I do I throw it at stuff so can't wait for this damn debt to go too.
I did a mystery shop yesterday for an iPad and the guy was so good I nearly bought one! lol I want to get one before we go away and now have a clearer idea of which one I need (not the new, same as the old but more expensive, one!) so that's good. I've kind of saved myself a few £100 and got paid for it too so nice one.
Right, it's absolutely hammering it down and I've got to go get Littley. It's parent's evening tonight then off to the movies.
Have a good evening everyonexx

Evening all
So, last night I had Littley's parent's evening and it was every parents dream I'm sure. Not only is she an asset to the class, positive and enthusiastic about everything, very funny with a great personality (all actual quotes from her teacher!) she's also a few levels above the "average" level of a year 7 student (high school). Um pleased Mummy? Hell yeah!!
I had already promised her a trip to the movies which we did. I didn't realise it would be off peak and so the cost of our 2 tickets cost £8.40 as I also used Or*nge Wednesday. Treated ourselves to a kids popcorn treat which was a further £6.50 so coming in at £14.90. I went to the cinema on a Sat night with a friend recently and my ticket alone wasn't to shy of that so getting two tickets + snacks was brill.
When we left she asked if we could have a "posh" dinner so we went to one of the chain restaurants in the precinct & had a lovely dinner and chat there. Was really lovely to spend that time together. I knew I probably couldn't afford it but thought sod it, I'll find the money somewhere. As it was we both had drinks - in fact she had 2. I had a main course and Littley had the kids 2course special. All came to £14.20 so couldn't complain about that at all. Considering I didn't really do anything with her during half term, she had an amazing report from school and we had so much for our money (oh, free car parking too!) I think we did well for our £30.
Today however I panicked at that whole £30 being spent (serious?) and had a look online for some mystery shopping gigs and have 4 to do on Monday. Three of these include a small purchase which I will get reimbursed for & get to keep & I'll get paid. The shops I have to go to are places I can get something for Christmas presents so that's the plan. 4 pressies, all paid for by MS work, plus getting paid for it too.
Happy me today!xx

Oh yeah, and because I've had to cancel going for a run this week I walked to do one of my covert jobs which was about a mile & a half round trip. Meant I had to buy less which is good. Also meant I was shattered after I got home as I'd forgotten I was walking and bought spuds & tins! d'oh
