Well done on finishing the c****y job, hope Littley is feeling better and you can now have some quality time together.
Keeping my fingers crossed you get paid today aswell xxCiaerda:T0 -
Thanks Ciaerda
Didn't get paid today so will get less money next week. Should be annoyed but if I'd got the work done quicker it wouldn't be an issue so it's my own fault.
Have a great weekend!xx

Wow, talk about cutting it fine. Just had an email to say I'd got paid, with literally minutes until the end of October to go. This means I got the full whack of money & as I'd done my usual underguessing I got more than I thought. Have allocated it all to the pot & specific things so all is great.
Will update signature when the money actually hits my account & goes into savings.
Sweet dreams everyonexx

Evening!
Yes it was a relief Parsnip. I would have been happy with what I thought I was getting so the extra was a massive bonus. One that I've already spent!
Saw online that there was a sale on at Arg*s and wanted to get Littley's present from there as have been saving my nectar points. So mention to Mum that I'm popping up there as it's reduced from £79.99 to £59.99 and she asks me to get a few things for her. So I go and get Littley's present and I had £30 of points to deduct, which brought it in at £39.99. This meant I got a £5 off voucher which I used on my Mum's stuff & she gave me the fiver. So Littley's £80 present cost me a whopping £25! Am so happy it's unreal as that is my biggest Christmas spend and wanted to get it with the points. It also means that whatever points I get between now & Christmas can go to either smaller pressies or a food shop, depending on how many surveys/ads/searches I cba to do! lol
Have put 2 pairs of boots on G*mtree this evening and have had 2 enquiries already. Hopefully they'll go soon.
Finally, have spoken with a friend who wants to fit into a dress for a party in 6 weeks & she's put on a few pounds over summer, and I want to tone up a bit for when I get into a wetsuit on hols, so in true MSE style we've decided not to sign up to a gym or classes that we can't afford but to go for a walk near here. There's a lovely river only a few mins walk away so we're going to go there and then build up to going for a run (I'm so unfit it's unreal!). By going together we should stick to it and get somewhere so I'm really happy about that. I had looked into going to a council run gym which was a lot cheaper than others but still too much. Bring it on!!
Anyway, I'm off to sort out the chicken for tonight (and tomorrow's) dinner.
Have a great evening everyonexx

Hi Sassy,
You are doing brilliant and I should imagine you have explained to your littley why you were not around this half term and she will be fine with it. They need to be taught that money does not grow on a tree at the bottom of the garden and sometimes sacrifices have to be made.
Oz will make up for it.

Well done Sassy on getting Littleys Christmas pressie and a nice bargin aswell - I love that when that happens.
Sassy if you have an MP3 player then I can highly recommend the NHS Couch to 5K, it is a free podcast and builds you up gradually for running. The NHS site also has strength and flexiblity I haven't given that ago yet but if it is like the Couch to 5K it will be worth it and free.

Hi Sassy,
I think your fitness plan sounds perfect. Exercising in the open air and in a beautiful environment is very good for the mind as well as the body.
keep up the great work. You are in the zone xx.Training Loan - £1300.00/£1,500 (13%), Halifax CC 300.00/£925.00 (31%), OS Weight loss 7.0lb/24lb (29%), Extra inc Nov £220, Dec £532.00, Jan Ex Inc target £200.00. Training hours 10/100 10%

Hi Ladies
Thanks for the encouragement. I really want to get into this running lark as I have always loved the idea of doing it but am just a bit of a lazy bones!
Ciaerda: Thanks for the heads up on the couch to 5K app. I've found it & will download it so fingers crossed it will help.
Whitefeather: I really feel as though I'm in the zone. I'll let you into a secret. My mate gave me some skinny jeans the other day which I wore with a long Bench jumper & some black boots. When we all went out for dinner my brother asked my Mum if I'd "had something done" as I looked really nice. Bit of a back handed compliment but one I'll take with both hands and run with it (excuse the pun!). He doesn't often compliment me - and this time not even to my face! - so it was extremely encouraging.
Magsnoodle: I totally agree. I've always made sure that Littley knew from an early age that money had to be earned and that if she wanted more things then Mummy had to work more and have Mummy/Littley time less. She agreed she'd rather have Mummy than the latest Lego or whatever which I was happy with. However last month I found an amazing job with a very reputable company that would have meant me not picking her up a few times a week. We discussed it and she was happy. The job turned out to be non-existant (!!!!!!!?) and this week of me working all hours has made her realise that she'd rather wait until she's at high school rather than have the extra money.
Anyhoo, Alex O'Loughlin waits for no woman so I'm outta here!
Have a good week everyonexx

You do sound SUPERsassy in your Bench and boots outfit.
How do you fancy working for the Secret Service?.
I was chatting to my cousin yesterday who does a lot of mystery shopping and she says these are her favourite as they are fast payers and the jobs are quick with easy reports, so they might be worth a look.
