Hi Sassychick - just a quickie before I head out of the door for swimming lessons - petrol I always round up to the nearest litre especially if I have a coupon.
You would think that the doctors would talk to one another don't you think I do sometimes wonder if it is best to write it all down and explain all whats happened to everyone that you see no matter who so then there is no confusion.
I haven't a diary I'm afraid I have done a few of the challenges though
Take care xCiaerda:T0 -

Hi all
Well this month I've had some entertaining expenses to find - some I knew of some I didn't. As well as my nephew's birthday last week and the 20s night the week before I've had a hen do this weekend which I only spent £12 on which was the required money for buffet & drinks. Didn't spend any more as I drove and found a new thing called "driver's perks" which is where everyone I gave a lift to insisted on buying me drinks. Can't complain!
This weekend Littley and I are out for dinner as a friend is getting hitched in a low-key ceremony during the week. It's at a local carvery/kids play area place so hoping that won't cost to much. Should be a good evening though as all the kids get on great so us parents can have fun too!
Then next weekend Littley has been invited out with Nanny & Grandad to a party so I thought s*d it, I'll pop down the pub with some mates, shoot some pool and have a giggle. So, I've been out once all year and now it's October I'll be out 4 weekends on the trot! That'll do me til March now I reckon.
Also, can't remember if mentioned it before but my Mum hits a big birthday this year and so we've decided that she needs to be spoiled rotten, especially after such a cr*ppy year. So my brother & his wife, my dad & myself have booked her a night away in London for her and dad. Brother has paid for the hotel, I've just booked theatre tickets and dad's buying dinner. With me saving for hols, my brother with another kiddie on the way and my dad's reluctance to spend more than a 2-4-1 dinner this has been a good solution. We've also managed to save quite a bit thanks to certain money off sites too (I've trained my brother & his wife well!!).
Finally, I've just received £40 from OnePoll and have put that straight over to the pot. We're now getting close to colouring in another state of Australia (something Littley adores doing). The first state we coloured was WA and it took forever!! But this last one (Victoria) hasn't seemed to take long at all. Yet it's the same amount of money for each state so you can see that I've been learning and saving more as the time's gone on. It's so exciting!
Have a great day everyonexx

EEEEEEKKKK!!!! I have now actually saved enough money to pay for my trip and now have a whole 69p spending money saved!!!!
I'm so chuffed with myself it's unreal. First time I've saved so much and now just got to get the spends. The relief that I've saved the fares is immense but I won't be paying it off until Christmas school hols as I need to collect our visas at the same time, something I can't do until December. There's no point wasting petrol, parking and the enticing shops around the travel agents just to pay it quicker. It's all sat on my card waiting to be paid.
Fab way to end the week!

Morning all
As some of you may remember near the beginning of the year the DWP decided that even though I had repaid an overpayment of their's a few years ago they were chasing me to pay it again - as you can imagine this didn't sit well with me and although I had the money there to pay it refused and have been drip feeding them their crummy payments each month.
Well today I paid the last one and so fingers crossed they won't be asking me to pay it a third time. I've kept all the documents and payment records together so that if they do they can shove off.
Although I'm really happy I've cleared this debt I'm still annoyed I had to pay it again but hey ho. It's done, it's gone and DWP can do one!

That is fantastic news that you have the money for the holiday already, well done. Hey hon
Not that I'm counting but it's 153 days, 1 hour, 26 mins & 10 seconds til the flight leaves!! I'm now saving for all the spends and few extra bits. I'm currently saving for Littley's fine which will be done in a few days I think. Then spends, then travel to & from Heathrow. eek!!
I actually applied for a proper job today that I'm not 100% sure I want which I know sounds a bit bonkers. It's one of those types of jobs that sounds good and I've an interest in the industry but I'm not sure what it completely entails, salary and hours. Theory is I'll see how it goes and go from there.
I'm currently doing a dull as dishwater contract phoning companies to send brochures too. You wouldn't believe that there's so many rude people out there. However, the money from this is paying for a midweek stay at Rottnest Island so I am definitely continuing. (Google it and you'll see why I'm desperate to go there!). I'm about half way through so at least I'm on the other side so to speak.
Got a few bits sold on ebay this week too so that's good. Again another few quid but straight into the pot.
Ok, well it's now 153 hours, 1 hour, 20mins & 20 seconds!! lol
Have a great night!xx

That made me laugh! In the space of a post, it had gone from 153 days, to 153 hours, that is true wishful thinking.
I love the way you are using this to motivate you through a tedious job.
I am off to have a nosey at Rottnest Island now, what a strange name!! xTraining Loan - £1300.00/£1,500 (13%), Halifax CC 300.00/£925.00 (31%), OS Weight loss 7.0lb/24lb (29%), Extra inc Nov £220, Dec £532.00, Jan Ex Inc target £200.00. Training hours 10/100 10%

Ha! That's what you get when you're full of wishful thinking and have a 9 year old whining "put your computer awaaaaay!" I so wish!CC1: 10273.70/6892.56. CC2: 1000/832
