Although your boiler man was a very cheeky chappy:whistle:, at least he got the job done, which is more than can be said for the rest of that cowboy outfit!!
Heya
I popped up to Asda today and managed to find a cossie for only £8 so can't complain too much I suppose. Although I did end up buying donuts but that's only cuz I saw an item on tv today saying donuts had less sugar in them than apple juice. Not sure that was the point of the item but hey, I got pudding!!
Boiler man was very cheeky and if I spoke to anyone like that through work I'd lose my job but hey ho, least it's done.
Have a good nightx

Evening all
Just a quick one tonight that's totally un-MSE related.
As you may recall I mentioned that Littley had started a club at school, well the first session was today.
18 people turned up, some asked to read to her &/or her assistant, some asked for help writing and some were just happy to be there. I spoke to one of the children who went (who I know isn't a big reader) and he said he really enjoyed it because they didn't restrict what books he could read.
They're only allowed 12 children in the library at a time so the library lady is speaking to the Deputy Head to see if they are allowed to open it for more.
I asked Littley what the best bit was and she said it was the fact she had helped so many people and made them smile - including the library lady who doesn't smile much!
All in all it was a huge success, Littley was over the moon and most children said they would come back next week.

Morning all
This morning I completed a mystery shopper assignment which will be another few quid for the pot. I also had to buy something and I actually needed it so that's a bonus too! Freebie & payment is always a good start to the day.
I've also put some more money across into the holiday pot so that's building up lovely. The £6 a day challenge also got another £6 in there.
Have paid off money towards Cat1 & Cat2 which is good considering I haven't got paid yet - fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Now off to do some work so have a good day everyone!xx

My fingers and toes are crossed for you and I am very impressed with your laser like focus on the £6.00 a day challenge which is fuelling the holiday fund. The months will fly and then you'll be in the sky!"I wondered why the Frisbee was getting bigger, and then it hit me". £9/£250

Morning all
So, got paid on Friday which is brilliant. Even better because somehow I managed to forget to invoice a client for last month so got 2 payments from them. This sounds awesome but it's only a £30 a month client (that finishes in July) but hey, it's money. Obviously this means I had to triple check the accounts to see if I'd forgotten to invoice anyone else and guttingly I hadn't! lol
Littley has been watering the veggie patch religiously since we started it and her efforts have paid off as we now have some lovely big lettuce, lots of shoots sprouting and flowers on the strawberry plants! So exciting. The downside is we're still getting fox poo on there so need the netting but the plants are getting bigger now and the lettuce & strawberry plants are brushing across the top. I looked at getting some cages to put over them but omg how much do they cost!?!!? Took a few days of thinking but have come to a great MSE solution. My swing seat got broken in the storms and I haven't thrown the frame out yet. Am going to move it over the veggie patch, put some net across it and hopefully it will work - like a little teepee!
On another plus, my sewing machine arrived the other day and after a few false starts I've finally worked out how to use it. I'm so excited about this as I can now make all the projects that have been sitting there waiting for me. Got it in true MSE style and bought it with 30% off.
Off to have a bath to try and get rid of all my stupid aches and pains and some little humbug is nagging me to let her go on the laptop. She's got a quiz for school she's desperate to do - someone should really tell her it's bank holiday and that means no school!!
Have a great bank holiday everyonexx
