  • Not many plans BOB - apart from trying to find some extra work to pay off some more debt :( I'm not sure Ibiza is for me - well not this year anyway!

Enough energy to do it again - does that mean you have done the Ibiza thing before? Or do you mean do being a youngster again?

Have you been anywhere on your break Skint? Anywhere nice?

Had a lovely DFW lunch today - it was DFW style because BF paid for it all! Even managed to have some wine with it although he couldn't as he has to go back to work again later :( I did some roast lamb and it was delicious.

Glad your night went well. Just keep smiling and wear comfy shoes:D

I suppose i meant that if i was your age again, i would be out there enjoying it all....never appreciated it when i did..if that makes sense!

I never did get to Ibiza, Majorca and Italy doing a tour..Red squirrel is off doing one as well, and if i didn't have a family to look after i would be in my camper van orf round europe:rotfl: :rotfl:
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:

Sure, of course that makes sense. I think that if I had not got into so much debt and spent too may of my years being irrationally unhappy then I might have done some more adventurous things by now. I'm lucky, in one respect, that I'm never going to have kids so I should have more scope to go and do such things.

Still. the key thing is that I am learning from my mistakes and am looking forward to a brighter future.

  • warm today, but kind
standing proud like the students at Tiananmen
not working hard, but a little
    not regretful, but pensive.
thinking of all the words we said, and the things we never did
    looking back, but seeing well
I do love you still but in a different way
you are happy and, more importantly,
    so am I
I love you, I really do.

That is great to hear NAGH:T but i wouldn't discount having kids..two of my friends at college, both gay..one female and one male, went on to have twins together.. He is defo a proud dad..so you never know:D

But kids are a definite drain on resources and the get more expensive the older they get..

I hope you find some inner happiness soon as well..shoite being depressed isn't it?

How's the job coming along? Although i reckon you should be a poet laureate at the rate you are churning out rhymes :D

I've been called a !!!!*r before so I guess I could do my bit ;)

Seriously though, kids won't be for me...I'll be happy seeing friends have kiddies - even more so knowing that I don't have to put up with the bad times!

How are things with you though, are you well? Job is going ok - has been bisy with the hot weather but I'm enjoying it...along with the lots of perving I get to do whilst on duty :)

Ohh, I love Peter Kay - even if every dvd of his has almost exactly the same jokes in.

In a bit if a quandry at the moment. I am seriously thinking about taking the next academic year off from uni and getting a job instead. I think this because it would allow me to try and properly tackle my depression and earn a lot of money too...feasibly I could be debt free by the time I go back to uni.

I know it means adding a year on but being in debt is really getting me down.

    Thoughts anyone?

  • I'm not sure yet jinky, I'm really not. I would give most things a go;) I'd keep my bar job too so that I can earn muchos pounds.

I have emailed my tutor to see if I can go and chat with him about taking a year out.
