Narco - stay down!
It's ok, I managed to resist! Was a bit ***** off when I looked at the garden, I know they have to walk on flower beds and stick poles in for scaffolding, but really there seems hardly a plant that hasn't either been trodden on, had a pole stuck through it or been driven over! There was even a hanging, broken branch off a tree down the drive - their reversing must have been worse than mine as I've never managed to snap a branch off.
All work today, had uni work then private student at home so I think a quiet/lazy eve then spring into action tomorrow trying to put everything back where is should be.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Evening all - not been around for a few days due to the delights of OFSTED
It was horrific but is now over and I have calmed down from my thoughts of resigning!!!
Absolutely shattered and heading to bed - may be more human in the morning!

Really doesn't look like I've done much, but not too bothered as I'm still in the first month of flying for a LOOOOONG time. And I'm in tax return hell. Only 2 to go. Guess what I'm doing all weekend assuming the HMRC website co-operates.
Had a great YS haul today. Anyone got any idea what to do with a single pigs trotter with lower leg, and the hock/shoulder bit from just above it? I'm thinking braising but would it be suitable for pot roast and cheats crackling?
bossy, glad the cake issue was resolved.
Glad the inspection went well froddy.

hi ladies, i found out about flylady a long time ago but never really got round to doing anything with it. however, we now live in a 3bedroom house and while it's not THAT cluttered, it easily becomes chaotic and I've decided to do something about it.
I just wonder though, while building up your control journal is a daily/weekly thing, i work shifts (anywhere from starting at 5am in the morning to 9pm at night, and finishing anywhere from 11am to 4am in the morning!) so I wonder how I could fit in the daily and weekly routines? I'm so tired on my early shifts that I don't think (at least to start with) that I could do the morning list before I go to work! Any suggestions please?
I will subscribe to these weekly threads as I am determined to get a grip of it all and get OH to help toBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Welcome
We don't follow the official flylady here, we don't have control journals (well a couple may but most don't)
Just take a look at the day's list and do what you can. It all comes round again over the weeks so stick with us and you'll be fine and dandy.
Back to the ironing for me, can't believe I have the school shirts washed and ironed for next week (well apart from today's but I'll do those in the week).
DS3 in bed so all peaceful and both DS2 and DS1 are still at work - well it would be if they weren't digging up the road a few houses up. Must be some sort of emergency - poor men it's pouring and dark. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Thanks honey and mrsm. Its horrid but we have no choice. Rubbish.
Just in from work and collapsed with a ginger beer. Back to job 1 first thing. X0 -

Hi, I have a very busy life and have 2 part time jobs. 3 days a week I go from one job to another with just time to walk the dog in between so fitting in housework is hard. My principle is that every day I will do something in the room thats on the list, no matter how tired I am - and this really does work. Its amazing what you can do in half an hour and on the days when I do have a bit more time I do a bit more.
Good luck!0 -
That's great thanks guys
I'll maybe just check in here every week and put together my own list from the main one, bearing in mind whatever i am working that week. Fed up of it so want to be proactive!
