LameWolf where are you and are you ok?x
Would you like the polite answer or the honest one?:D
OK, going with honest - upset tum for last few days; 8-month-old puppy in residence, who us delightful but totally exhausting; injured foot (fell over Mr LW's briefcase which he left in middle of hall); injured hand (got lead wrapped around it at the exact moment Evie decided to PULL LIKE H£LL). All equals no Flying to speak of, and too tired to read properly, let alone post.

Tbh the tum has been the worst bit - no idea what's going on; Mr LW reckons I've caught something when we've been out shopping (I only have to be in the same room as someone with a lurgy to catch it).

Evie's a little sweetheart, but oh my, she really is tiring; I've never looked after such a young dog before in my life (Penny was 2 and a half years old when she came to me) so it's a big learning curve. Evie's going home on Tuesday, so if I don't post before then, don't panic, I'm just too busy/tired to put something coherent together.

Must go - nearly time for next [STRIKE]walkies[/STRIKE] battle of wills.:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Well been quite chuffed with myself so far this month regarding shopping. However after today I Am not! I had quite a list including much needed pet food. I managed to spend £112.95 this week alone!!!!!

I have updated my Sig. Think I may have to have a little cheat next weekend. I can do some on Friday and then do the rest Saturday!! Saturdays can go on the Feb budget. It is amazing how much u get through in a month in food. I dread to think what I must have been spending.

I am at a bit of a disadvantage at the moment cause my oven is poorly so a lot a stuff I could use from freezer is not doable. Roll on Feb 5 when my new one should arrive.

Have a vs weekend everybody dispite this horrid weather

    Hello all

Yesterday I had a day off from the paid stuff and went to Dune!m for some bits for the house as part of 'operation return home' & then to Ald! to use my m!rror voucher. Sadly neither shop is that local so it was a bit of a trek. But bargains were found so a worthwhile journey.

In the afternoon I popped to w0rk to get my pay cheque & then into town to pay it in, collect my new phone (only 50p a month cheaper but it all adds up, plus £35 cash back :money: ) Then came home, unpacked the shopping, put new towels in WM and set up wifi on my new phone & downloaded some apps. Kitchen S&S'd & new towels hung on indoor line.

Today I'm feeling terrible as I've spent the morning setting up my new phone (needed to download stuff to my computer & onto the phone *technologically challenged smilie* arranged for my old number to be transferred so I don't need to remember a new one. But have only put up the picture I brought yesterday for 'operation move home'.

I am feeling very tired though, most weeks I am at work 6 days in a row (only work Sat mornings though) so maybe I need to rest a bit today? Doesn't stop my guilt though :(

    Today's MUST do:

    Strip bed
    HHI x 2
Dust & Hetty BR & landing

Bossy Hope all the bits for the bed were there
Fizzwhizz thank you for donating blood. People's donations made late OH feel a bit better when he was having treatment. I was a donor long before I met OH but I've seen the result of my donation and it is truly priceless. I felt terrible at xmas when I was too poorly to donate.

Please kick me if I'm still on here at 3.30pm !!

The bed is fine! But he put the ladder at the wrong end :o it's been moved now.
So, all bedrooms this aft. Remade my bed, plus DDs new one made up, then spare room sorted as inlaws are staying over. Happily the trundle does fit alongside the single, didn't think it was wide enough. So one less problem to solve .

I'm bushed, not stopped today and I've a party to "host" later. I need a shower and kids need a bath.

Went dark here for an hour, howling wind and rain. Now we have blue skies again!

Hossa - no weekend list, in an ideal world all your flying is done during the week so you can enjoy weekends with your fammily/friends/hobbies etc. Mostly I think people play catch up.

Weather was fine earlier so I washed and dried the blankets from the boys beds. It is now heavy stormy rain. Eeek just remember I had shoes drying on the step from washing the mud off - they are going to be soaked.

I see your howling wind and rain and raise you THUNDER and LIGHTNING out of a blue sky...with lashing rain.

My washing was out. Unfortunately, so was I. Cue a rinse and spin *sigh*

    Been here

    Evening everyone.

Got a lot done yesterday before I went to work. Today I've been into town to spend my book tokens. Just got home before it poured down and went really dark.

The guy came last night to measure up for the kitchen. The way things are going with the banks I think it's best putting my money into the house. I can't wait till its done but not looking forward to the upheaval.

The only flying I've done today is a bit of washing.

Hugs, spoons and sticks where needed.

Just finished cooking and eating dinner. Have retired upstairs for few moments as stomach is doing acrobatics.

Teaching this morning then on to dancepops/dancegran's to help with sorting medications and some incoming brown envelopes.
Airing cupboard sorties and contents shared out.

Beds need changing but will do tomorrow as I have bought boys a new blind and to put it up means accending bunk beds.

I may sort a few drawers before sticking DS2 in the bath.
