  • Wow thank you so much for the tip. When I put the WM on tomorrow I will try it out. I would never have thought of this! :T

You are very welcome. Thats the beauty of this thread, we are all here to help each other.

I forced myself to do some flying today - and I really didnt want to. Didnt go to dog walking group because the weather was so awful and regretted it afterwards because I think it would have done me good.

Bossy, sounds like you are all having far too much fun to be bothered with the flying - enjoy.

And Valli, beggars belief really doesnt it.

Right, time to get ready for bed I think. Need to shift DS2 because I think he might be asleep on the sofa. He will not go to bed no matter how tired he is. Oh what its like to be 13!

Agree totally - words fail me.

My dad got married and didn't invite me, my brother or the rest of the family but had a party despite the fact they didn't want a fuss. Still hurts.

Yep - and he still doesn't understand why I'm hurt by his actions. Some interesting things came out though like 'When your mum left I considered you & your brother left me too' (we were 6 & 5 !!!!!! ) But TBH that does explain a lot of his behaviour over the years.

Taxi service finished for the day.

Just want to finish copying some figures onto a table and then up to bed.

Pigpen, have you considered seeing a doctor? You seem to be staggering from one bout of unwellness to another and it must be incredibly wearing. I know you have no time for health care professionals, but to quote a meerkat, 'I's worried about you

I'm not really ill it us just a string of nothingness really. I think I am probably just run down/tired really.

It 'fascinates' me that 'supposedly' adult people are unable to separate 'ADULT' choices.
I know it's not all male thing - it cannot be -but 'men' evaluate all these choices differently from women/mothers.

My ex used to write, on his Xmas cards to the Vallikids that he 'hoped they would get lots of presents'

in itself 'fine' except that he'd stick a £20 note in the card and that was it.

So, clearly he hoped 'someone' would buy HIS children lots of gifts, and wrap them, and ensure they were there on xmas morning with NO involvment from him.

Eventually I informed himthat if he wanted HIS children to have LOTS of presents he ought to buy some.

He stopped writing that in the card!

Hello all :). Well, I have been mad busy. Finished my 6 nights on Thursday morning absolutely bushed. Then out on Thursday evening.
I had Dr's Friday morning, I have torn ligaments in my hip  no wonder it's been so sore. Then I was back into work on Friday night for 2 extras.
When I finish in the morning, I shall go home and start the lists because I don't want to sleep all day and won't want to get up at 12! I'm off Sunday at Monday night, then have 2 more extra nights. Then 1 off and 6 on.
Thank god DH's taken over cooking!
    See you all later xx

    Morning

My green house moved in the storm by about 2 foot, OH and I have no idea currently how to move it back, as there is nothing really to push on, as it is all glass, one large panel is broken as well so need to pick up the glass, next time I am at home when it is day light is Thursday, (ie day off from job 2) so I have for now fenced it off, to keep cat off the area. (and no he won't jump over the fence as he only has 3 legs and doesn't do jumping.!)
