Not much flying today but quite a lot of work; some at uni and some arranging an assessment for a new client.
    Did zumba.
Scaffolding still up so window of study still open wide (with large sheet of plastic over it), so that stymied any thoughts of putting old computer back together and transferring stuff onto new computer. Apparently collection is down for tomorrow - pity they didn't tell me that when I rang yesterday. If weather had been better I could have used it to climb up and clean/paint the windows, but think maybe I shouldn't be tempted tomorrow morning without someone on the ground to make sure I don't fall off.

Hope all the post-dental faces feel ok; I must make an appointment tomorrow.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

    Evening all :D

Just grabbing the main list for tomorrow. I'll no doubt have more to add to it but that me all over :rotfl: Laundry is all up to date (need to do the sofa cover still and the other sofa cushion covers again  I will be putting the throw back on that sofa tomorrow), the ironing pile is small but can wait until DD's uniform is washed & dried ;) I have more baking I'd like to do, but we'll have to see whether I have time tomorrow to do it. I really need to fly instead of baking. :o

I'm not unsentimental. I don't need physical stuff as a reminder of people gone from this life. Memories of them are all knitted together into a big blanket and wrapped around my soul. They are a part of me as I am a part of them, and we are all part of each other with the strands of our lives interwoven into a big blanket of life and time and love.

I have enough emotional baggage to sink a battleship I don't need it in the physical sense too.

    Morning all

Lost my last post but gist is I need to fly today - who's joining me in an end of week catch up?

    Narco - stay down!

Any ideas for gifts for DS3 birthday ? He'll be 12 and I have no ideas at all, fortunately I have booked to take him tunnel skydiving so at least that is done.

Hope the dentist goes well for you, Roxy.

I see another Flylady (who will remain nameless) has been using the F word again. Shocked and saddened. 100 lines: 'Flyladies do not fa*l - they FLY sporadically and that's okay.'

I will be Flying all day, Dusty, in my Room of Doom, so I will be joining you.

If I've got this right, your DS3 is a cricket nut. How about a trip to Lords (at the appropriate time of year, obviously, so this is a promise rather than a piece of clutter) for a Test Match or a One Day International.
    Better is good enough.

Yay!! I can get M.S.E on firefox again!! :j Smilies back and everything! :T
Yesterday myself and 2 very grumpy daughters ;) sorted out most of the attic. 1/3 of it is now cluttering up the upstairs of the house waiting to go to the charity shop tomorrow. It looks like cardboard box city up there but it'll be gone tomorrow.
My sister & family's undelivered Christmas presents are now up there too  Now I can hoover my bedroom as I have the floor back!
We still didn't find the box of books DD2 and I are looking for but it must be up there so DD2 will be deployed back up there this evening (hurts my back too much to be up there too long :()
DD1 has work tomorrow so won't be staying at the boyfriend's tonight so there will be a nice list of jobs she needs to do when she get's in tonight ;) One for DD2 also.
DW on, WM on, now to sort out some paperwork, my budget and do a food shopping list . . .
