Hello all. Flying ok today. WU done x 2, Butternut Squash soup cooked and scoffed. Yum (even better as it's a WW recipe and virtually calorie free.
HMRC phoned (very helpful!) and one more tax return almost finished. Quick trip to Asda combined with dog walking to make most of the strange yellow thing in the sky. About to book York tickets.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Afternoon all, just catching up then need to whizz.
Achieved 2 classes this morning - zumba and a new one based on Strictly! Also did Body Pump last night so pretty kna**ered.
Went to Mr T on the way home and bought lots of flying materials - new mop head, granite cleaner for new worktops (wonder how it's different from normal stuff?) and assorted cloths and sponges.
Need to empty cupboard in office this eve, as suspect it will be used as a cable run when the solar panels go on tomorrow. Can't say I'd want to be on our slippery roof. The scaffolding is arriving at 7am - a time I'm not very familiar with of late.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
I'm home <yawn> seriously tired. But I have put all the laundered stuff from the crawly hamper in vacuum bags :rotfl: and my holiday clothes too. Amazed how much I got on the top shelf just hope it doesn't collapse under the weight
MIL washed DS bedding this morningbless him so that's in the airing cupboard drying, and everything else seems tickety boo. I filled the DW last night and it looks like MIL washed the breakfast things :A so everything is pretty much as I left it last night.
Need to decide what's for dinner - kids will have had snack at club so they never want much. And there's some left over chilli I can have.
Just going to call my ma, then will go get littlies

Narc0, I don't have granite surfaces myself, but I do clean for a customer who has them. The BEST way to get them really shining is an ecloth, the ones they make for polishing glass and stainless steel. It really makes them sparkle, leaves them completely streak-free too. She has a granite-specific cleaner and a normal kitchen cleaner but honestly, once I've buffed with the ecloth the only difference I can see is in the price of the cleaning sprays. I got my cloths from Lakeland, they had sets in their January sale; a really nice microfibre cloth for cleaning and a glass polishing cloth for £3.99. Otherwise the polishing cloths are about a fiver each in Sainsbobs.
I hope that makes sense! I am coming down with a migraineand often struggle to get my words out when I'm about to succumb.
Best get dinner on the go before my head starts pounding...
ETA Just remembered I said earlier that I was feeling good today! Talk about tempting fate. I never learn  :rotfl:0 -

Thanks, I've just given it a try and it looks good. I've got an ecloth and some new micro-fibre thingies so with the combination of both I'll be well away.
I hope your migraine dissolves.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

Thanks. I can't believe I possess something so new and shiny - luckily you were all spared my various discussions/plans/hassle with choosing various bits for the kitchen while I was AWOL. We got them to re-shape a couple of awkward corners, OH has built 2 (out of 4 planned) new storage units so it all looks much bigger - it isn't that much bigger but I haven't managed to clutter it up yet! Hoping I'll continue to be impressed by the 'clean sweep' and keep all the top clear.
Planned to use new mophead on new floor but postponed as other stuff to do. I hasten to add, I have swept the floor several times since it went down before Xmas - even I'm not that bad!!Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0
