I've not made much progress with the lists but I have gutted all my kitchen cupboards. I'm ashamed to say I have 3 carrier bags of out of date packets, jars, tins. The bin is full so it will have to be taken to the tip.

DD1 made cupcakes whilst I was doing the kitchen declutter. She is a very messy cook. To say the kitchen is a mess is an understatement!

I need to get some sausages to feed the after school kids today. I have nothing else I can stretch to feed 8. I'm going to walk to school and stop at the butcher on the way.

Paid stuff for three hours this morning, a lovely old couple in a big house that's just too much for them now. I spent 15 minutes helping the chap sort out his new Kindle, he doesn't have a clue about technology, bless him, I could see that he was trying to take in what I was saying but it just wan't happening. I think I will write him out some very basic instructions for when I next visit :)

Got home, WUDUPA, S&Sed kitchen and tidied the DSC's mess from last night, lazy toads. Cleaned ALL the windows. Tidied the boys' room a bit, left a small pile in the middle of their floor to sort out, with instructions that no games consoles are to be touched until it's put away properly. Emptied all the bins, S&Sed bathroom, cleaned all the mirrors while I was at it. Fed the WM and I'm just about to strip yesterday's load off and refill it with today's.

Rang and cancelled my mobile contract, which I have been meaning to do since before Christmas :o I had intended to go PAYG and set up a tenner a month DD to top it up, but instead I have 1000 mins, unlimited texts and 3gb data for £11pm on a SIM only contract :money: If my phone dies, I can upgrade and get a new phone straight away with no penalty. Job's a good un.

I've just uploaded 18 new books to my Nook, so that should see me through for a while :) I've got a bit of mild insomnia at the mo, it's taking me ages to drop off so I'm hoping a good read will help.

I need to decide what's for dinner, whatever it is will need to come from the coop as I CBA with Sainsbobs tonight. Enchiladas, maybe? I also want to make soup, I have a butternut squash in the fridge all ready and waiting.

Feeling good today, even if AF is still making her presence known.

    Hope all are well xx

Sorry I've been MIA of late and haven't caught up on thread but hugs, sticks, spoons etc as required!

Good day today so far - ran with DH, went to Knit & Natter (where I nattered!), lunch and have just finished attacking the kitchen so sitting down with a cuppa before school run. Can't believe how quickly the day goes. Done everything on list apart from wiping out cutlery tray but will do that today.

Wish my letter would come soon with my appointment for CBT but patience is not a virtue of mine - it'll come soon enough won't it. Trying not to go on the internet too much which is a problem of mine so may dig out the sewing machine or overlocker tonight and have a play!

I'm sure most of it is fine to use. I'm always using OOD stuff.

I've had a bit of a tidy of my CofD but lots is summer stuff I'm not trying on with it being so cold.

Going to make dinner now and then see if I can do a bit more paperwork.

Afternoon all, it's cold, wet and miserable here so I'm decluttering a brew before I start. Here's today's list for me:

Curtains and cushions either hoover them, take them outside and shake and bash them or give them a wash all depending on car instructions.
Dust behind the radiator - put an old sock on a a sturdy stick if you don't have a radiator brush.
    Dust the bedframe.
Pull out any furniture you safely can and hoover behind it, dust the walls, wipe the skirting boards and replace
Wipe any doors, skirting and furniture with a damp cloth

Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Mess
    15 minutes...
    Clear and wipe work surfaces
    Wipe and replace small appliances
    30 minutes to spare...
[STRIKE]Empty cutlery drawer.. wash cutlery tray and replace everything neatly.. get rid of all the odds and sods that shouldn't be in there[/STRIKE] did at weekend as DH dropped rice pudding in there!
Wipe the front of the units, kickboards and the large appliances
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Got an hour...
Wipe dining table and replace cloth if needed
Clean out the fridge - now the weather seems to be turning colder is there anything that can be turned into soup and frozen.
    De-web and fluff the room

    Extras
    Wash the windows
Wipe down paintwork/sideboards/units in dining room
    Clean filters and detergent dispensers

    Dailes
    Clear Hotspots
    [STRIKE]Put away washing[/STRIKE]
Make dinner from menu plan - tagliatelle with vegetables and feta

Thank you Mrs MP.. I want a rear facing one .. I'm eyeing up the Britax Maxway but we need a sitter for Dot so we can go to York and try one in the car as no one supplies online.. I am hoping to keep Squeak rear facing until at least 5 due to the amount of motorway travel we do.

    Would this one be suitable?

I looked at it for my daughter, she is expecting baby girl no2 in May, I thought it was really good value and nice and padded.

    Its free delivery too! :T

I really fancy one of my spiced chocolate prune cakes, if I can find the recipe

That sounds sort of like the S'bury magazine fig and chocolate cake I made at Christmas. If you can't find your recipe, let me know and I'll post the figgy one on. It was seriously yummy but not exactly slimming!
