Reporting in with a tardy slip......Room of Doom Study has been completed as a guest bedroom with one bank of puters now reinstated.
Bunk beds from DD4's room now in Study, so EX Mil can stay downstairs when she house sits for me next week.
LR is having a major overhall of electrics....I have mould behind big TV units which has been moved....evidence of a little 4 footed squeaky visitor exists, which has now be cleaned....
time to get some shut eye ....night night :wave:The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Dusty I think that kicking did the trick!
I have changed all the beds and tidied the 3 bedrooms, emptied upstairs mini bins, collected dirty washing.
I then cleaned the bathroom top to bottom including window and under the sink cupboard.
I then WUDUPA, wiped down all the work tops, filled the outside bin and put it out to be emptied tomorrow.
Tomorrow I would like to clean the grill/oven/hob, get through as much washing as humanly possible also I must hoover/mop everywhere.0 -
Morning all. I'm going to tackle the downstairs loo this morning but will probably have time to do some kitchen jobs too before the paid stuff.
Here's hoping DH recognises the person yesterday at the police station today.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Hope tiddles is OK, pigpen X
Am now in the office, first coffee slurped, emails read, and sent. <yawn>
Better do some work.
Managed to sneak out unnoticed this morning :T hope DD has a little lie in she was very unsettled last night. The baby gate doesn't fit on her door now she's switched rooms  so I can't threaten her with that anymore :rotfl:
Finishing at 3 but kids are at after school club so I can get some flying done...Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Morning - all - hope DH is OK Jazee.
I think I must have had the 3rd Monday in Jan blues yesterday as got hardly anything done and went to bed at 8!!! Reading back on Fred however, the rest of you seem to have been absolutely phenomenal to make up for me!!
Have big plans for today if I can get btm into gear.
Thanks for the recommendations for butter substitutes - will try those next - had to buy something as had totally run out.
Today's plan
Monday - Master bedroom & landing
Vacuum and turn mattress before replacing clean sheets - later
Vacuum floors
Got an hour...
Dust
Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Mess
15 minutes...
Clear and wipe work surfaces
Wipe and replace small appliances
30 minutes to spare...
Empty cutlery drawer.. wash cutlery tray and replace everything neatly.. get rid of all the odds and sods that shouldn't be in there..
Wipe the front of the units, kickboards and the large appliances
Sweep and mop the floor
Got an hour...
Wipe dining table
Clean out the fridge - now the weather seems to be turning colder is there anything that can be turned into soup and frozen.
Extras
Wash the windows
Clean filters and detergent dispensers
My wardrobe empty, clean, be ruthless etc in back bedroom. then that will be 7 out of 8 done.
Pay a bill online - put on here as keep forgetting!!!
Have a great day everyone.

Jazee, I'm very glad your DH is OK.
Is Tiddles back safely in the fold, pigpen?
Thanks for this week's list, Natty, and to Dusty for last week's. I'm flying again, on and off, having had three days out and about on "business" and really enjoying it! Sunday evening I tidied and dusted the house in 15 minutes and baked some cakes, yesterday morning I cleaned all through including bathroom and kitchen in less than an hour, and the house was sparkling when our overseas visitors came back for tea and a rest break after a hectic day of meetings and sightseeing. They decluttered most of my cakes in record timeDH was home alone all day and even managed to tidy up the front garden (the Garden Gang leader has flu so they didn't come yesterday) and not mess up the house again :A

You've clearly done a lot in a short time skinty :T Hope your four-legged visitor has gone for good. And well done to all the rest of you who achieved so much last week - give yourself a special award!
Our RoD is the guest bedroom where DH still has his crates piled almost to the ceiling, but I have plans to reduce the amount of furniture in there today, and once DH has painted inside the garage he will be able to move everything back in there. The garage walls have been skimmed, so he has got a clean room for his precious railway models and wargaming figures.
My extras list for this week:
- freeze cake leftovers before we can eat any more - I will probably hang my head in shame at SW today, but it did taste very good
- take photos for newsletter, finish it and email or snailmail it as appropriate
- take furniture to auctioneers
- fix garden trellis
- order new computer - the hard drive on this one is almost full and I can't fit any more memory in
- embroider card for friends' golden wedding
- mend curtains in study/bedroom - a 2-minute job once I get a wiggle on
- sew up knitted baby jacket
- garden whenever I can
FBO, I will PM you.
(((Hugs)))to all who need them, especially Dusty, LW, froddington, dancemum, Helenjelly and opto-mum. Spoons are in the jar please help yourselves. I will hurl sticks for BDs across the valley every time I go outside today.0 -
