Bulgarians are usually working hard in some menial job involving food processing or care-home work etc etc, where our own home-grown benefit-luvin' scum can't be ars*d to get off the sofa in front of the widescreen.

On a more serious note, these people may be poor, but they a razor sharp upstairs, make no mistake about that.
They will sit out our harsh winter months then look at transit camping.
The role is to make money and live in big houses back home, they don't do rent and taxes, they do caravans, shanty villages and rought it for 5 years and get their hands on every penny they can by any and all means possible.

They will arrive, like the swallows returning in the spring.

I did see my first BG plated transit van the other day whilst running down the canal path- 4 men were by the side having a barbecue (I think they were eating fish from the canal!). Rent arrears increase in winter every year, and rents fall over winter every year.

However rents are higher than they were in the same month last year, and arrears are lower than last year as well.
