Hi Thistlewhistle, greetings from a fellow bellringing MFW! I have been mostly lurking on the forums for about a year, regularly making OPs on my mortgage, but now I am about to MASSIVELY increase this as I am moving. I am very scared, but will be taking MFW principles even more to heart.

sorry to jump on your thread TW but wanted to wish Tamzing well. It is scary when we make a big move like that, at least you have a headstart on most people with your MFW mindset. You'll be fine. Chat to likeminded people on here like I do (or I just talk to myself but it gets it out my head lol) you'll be fine x

Maybe you have to wait an extra day if made over the weekend? It has to have gone somewhere, I'm sure its fine. :) The bank will trace it anyway. You have proof that it left your account.

  • Phew!
The money has hit the credit card so the balance is showing as £2,500.
I think a statement was being generated which is why it took a day or so to show.

  • More Tilly Tidies done today - £2.13 to be precise!
I've a feeling I might be dealing with a little cash flow issue over the month end which might necessitate a dip into the overdraft facility which I'll try and avoid at all costs if I can.
Might get OH to lend me some of the £1,800 gas credit he's discovered he's got!! Lol

  • Morning Thistle, you really are focused on it and I love reading about your progress. Hopefully OH gets the credit back soon, it took us weeks when we switched from SP.

Did you have all the rain yesterday, or did it miss you?

    Hi Tilly,

The rain missed us fortunately, or certainly at crucial moments. I recall it raining a little whilst we were in the car. Absolutely poured down during the night though which has put paid to our cliff walk this morning.

  • Morning all,

Well it's our last morning waking up in Cornwall and were both quite sad because we love it here and we're so relaxed. Next week for me at least, is going to be very tiring and quite long so I'm in no rush to get home:sad:

So to that end, we've extended our break a little - we are stopping off in Worcester to visit our friends who have a B&B and so instead of going home today, we are going home tomorrow.

However, it's SW month end this weekend and I have to do all my reports in time for a 09:30am meeting on Monday:eek: which will only leave Sunday to do the work:eek:and I've got a 3 hour meeting at 10:30am on Sunday too. See what I mean!!!!!!:rotfl:

Still, it earns the pennies and I certainly need those.

Possibility of earning extra in 2 big relief groups this week.

    Have a good day!
