  • 75p Tilly Tidy brings me to a total of £210.75/£200 saved for February. Quite pleased with that.

Still destined for a cash flow problem this weekend. The lady who covered my groups has not paid the money into the bank yet so I'm going to be mega short come Monday when the direct debits leave the bill account. The overdraft facility will save the day but thats hardly the point is it.

Anyway no worries, it'll all come out in the wash.

Setting off back home today. I'll be sorry that the holiday is ended but still glad to get home. Work starts with a vengeance tomorrow. And some.

Started my March spending diary today. Aiming to account for every single penny this month.

    Spends today?

So far, £3 donation to Pershore Abbey

Now to brave the M5/M6 corridor.......stopping off for a free cup of coffee with friends in Newcastle Unde Lyme.

So much for a reduced spend day. Completely forgot that we'd be arriving home to a house containing no milk, bread, vegetables, fruit, anything remotely resembling a meal. Result: a trip to T3sco spending £44.92:eek: but at least OH's cupboards are looking less like Old Mother Hubbard's:rotfl:

I played a blinder in T3sco though - you'll be so proud, fellow MSEers!!

Wanted Eton Mess for tea so rummaged through the T3sco Finest meringues for the most smashed/damaged ones I could find. Then haggled with the Supervisor and got 25% off:cool: saving a massive 39p which I'll add to my CC repayment account' along with a further £1 from a multibuy!! Plus the £0.08 TillyTidy makes a grand total of £1.47 to the CC repayment account!:T

    Yay!!

Oh and a £5 off your next £40 shop to be used by 09/03/2014 which I'll transfer IF I use it.

    Morning all!

Well this morning began with a lovely cup of tea and a bowl of porridge brought to me, in bed, by OH........at 07:15  He started work at 08:00!
I've snatched a lie in, whilst listening to the morning service on R4, but really do need to get up now. Need to be in Manchester by 10:30 for a meeting. Then straight home to do my Month End reports.
OH coming round for dinner later on. By then I hope to have ALL the holiday washing done and put away.
Tomorrow I'm back to Manchester for another meeting at 09:30 so slogging through the rush-hour traffic is going to be a barrel of laughs. Hate it!!!

    Money wise:
I'll have to restock my fridge today so I'm setting a budget of £20 for a mini-shop. There's a M0rris0ns right next to where my meeting is being held so I'll pop in there. £20 - no more!!

    Have a good day everyone

  • Morning Thistle, I'm supposed to be showered and dressed now and I'm still catching up on diaries.

Hope all goes well today and that the traffic in the morning is not too much of a killer :o
