  • Thanks for all your support everyone. It means a lot!

Monday morning dawns and the sun is shining. We're not sure what we're doing today but it will involve a trip westwards towards Lands End. I fancy St Ives as there's a lovely pair of jeans in a shop there that I was coveting last year. That involves spending money though so I burgess I'll be coveting them again!!!:rotfl:

I finally had a good night's sleep last night. It always takes a. Couple of nights for me to settle in an unfamiliar bed (I am aware how rude that sounds!!). I think the damson brandy may have helped though!!

    Have a good day everyone.

    what does burgess mean?
Guessing 'doubtless' but autocorrect looks like it's excelled this time :)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • what does burgess mean?

It's a predictive text word meaning "you typed "guess", but your computer took it upon itself to assume that you didn't mean what you'd actually typed, so it chose an unrelated word, totally at random, but cleverly selected to sound almost right, but to mean absolutely sweet BA"!

Does that answer one's question, ND:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    well done on the CC
  • Hi Thistlewhistle, greetings from a fellow bellringing MFW! I have been mostly lurking on the forums for about a year, regularly making OPs on my mortgage, but now I am about to MASSIVELY increase this as I am moving. I am very scared, but will be taking MFW principles even more to heart.
