  • Morning all,

I'm feeling much better today after my op. things seem to be settling down finally. Just a few twinges here and there.:o

I'm not running my group today - I arranged for a colleague to cover it as I wasn't sure if I'd be able to do it. Result of this is that I have another day off effectively.:D However, I will go and do a group visit tonight because then I can reclaim the £90 that I'll have to pay my colleague to run my group.:p Given that I'll be shelling out another £90:eek: next week for real when I'm in Cornwall, this is the best thing. Group visits aren't strenuous - I'm just observing and giving feedback.

Lucky day today - just clearing out a couple of bags full of papers that have been lying around for too long - and found a £20 note:dance: in a birthday card I'd missed. That takes me over my £200 target for March's CC payment!!!:T:T:T

However, today's the day I must tax the car (£105:doh:) so easy come easy go with the sponds!!!

Off to put some washing in, ready for Cornwall, then I'll come back and catch up on the diaries.

Have a good day my lovelies!!

Hi thistle, glad to hear you're on the mend. Great news about finding the missed £20, I love it when that happens, sadly it doesn't happen very often:rotfl:

Enjoy Cornwall, where about are you going?

  • Ooh how lovely. The postman has just brought the T3sco Cl*bc*rd statement with an eye watering voucher total of......

    £1.50:T:T

Still, I can add it to the £8.50 currently fridge-magneted to the fridge door!

This is saving up for when T3sco drop their meat prices to half price (or less) and we splash out on a mahoosive joint of beef, or a leg of lamb - something we wouldn't normally buy.

Last time we got a leg of pork which did 10 meals by the time we'd roasted it, curried it, chinesed it, stir-fried it & sandwiched it, and all for about 2.79!!!!

Better than a trip to Alton Towers!!
