Hope you're soon on the mend, sounds like it's gone well :T

Cheers GG. I can feel that it's gone well. I did my first lot of physiotherapy exercises today and its amazing just how much more movement I have after just one day.
It still hurts like mad though - so still relying on the drugs!!

Soon be swinging off lamp-posts....although maybe not in this torrential rain!!

  • Hi all,

73p & 25p Tilly Tidies carried out today, the 25p as a result of transferring £68.75 across to the Car Expenses Savings Account to cover this month's road tax (£8.75) and next year's Motor Insurance (£60.00).

in January, I paid the Motor Insurance as a one of payment, flatly refusing to be held to ransom by the extortionate APR rate that the insurance company were going to charge for a DD facility. So £637.36 of the credit card balance is made up of this. I saved approx £100 by doing this I think - it was significant anyway. This year I'm paying by S/O (to myself) so that when next January comes along and it's renewal time, the money will be there, as it will for the car tax due at the end of February.

Spent today sat on the sofa, sorting out my budget for February and beyond. Feel like I'm in control.:T:T:T

Feel like I'm getting organised at last!:D

    Ha! Result!

My minimum payment DD on the MBNA Card has gone through, bringing the total balance below £4,000:j:j:j:j:j:j on that card anyway!

It also brings the Paid off date into 2015:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

  • Am I right in thinking that when I'm doing a monthly budget, what I'm actually doing is just making a list of where my money goes each month?

Is it actually a Cashflow Statement I'm trying to do?

This is how much money I get in - this is what I'm doing with it?

    HELP!!!

    I'm getting all confused.
