Deary me! I'm trying to do my budget planner but it's so complicated!
Not only are my spends across differing time periods, so is my income.
Part of it is monthly (but varies each month), another part of it is weekly (and varies each week) and a further part is monthly but invoiced out so I might not get the money immediately.
It's like knitting fog!!!
Any suggestions to simplify it?Mortgage at end 05/2007: £90200

OH has just had a good idea.
Don't bother trying to second guess what this month's income will be. Use last month's income figure as the amount for this month. That way, your month's income will always be a known parameter.
Eg Earned £x in January. That's how much there is to allocate for February. Any surplus can be thrown at debts.Mortgage at end 05/2007: £90200

Got to make a tough phone call today.
We booked a venue for a new group and were told the rent would be £55.50 per week by the lady who we spoke to and who was responsible for letting out the church hall where the group is held.
She has since left the committee because she fell out with the Treasurer and he has now submitted his invoice for January and we've been charged £79 per week.
So I have to tackle him about it. I'm dreading it because he's very gruff and "is never wrong" by all accounts, so this could be fun.
The fact of the matter is that at £79 per week, we can't stay in that venue so it comes down to whether he's prepared to throw away £55.50 x 52 woth of income for the sake of his stubbornness?
We shall see!

Right - feel like I'm moving forwards at last.
Just balance transferred all my CC debt onto my MBNA card at 0% rate until 24/02/2015. Cost me £85.62 which was unavoidable and far less than I'd be paying if I let the interest accrue.
Balance is £4,409.18
Balance #1: £1,484.97 of this is at 00.00% until 24/02/2014
Balance #2: £2,531.85 of this is at 00.00% until 24/02/2015
Balance #3: £0,392.36 of this is at 14.95%
Balance #1 will be cleared by 24/02/2014
Balance #2 will be cleared by 24/02/2015 (13 x £200/month S/O)
Balance #3 is a Business CC Debt and will be cleared by Due Date (17/03/2014)Mortgage at end 05/2007: £90200

Good luck with your call Thistle.
Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:
2011 £309k 10 years - MF March 2021.
Achieved Goal: 28/08/15 :j0 -
So my goal is to try and raise £200 per month through running relief groups for SW, using my Stock Commission, bonuses, and Tilly Tidies.
I've already saved £181 for March's payment but I might need this to help me clear balance #1 before the due date of 24/02/2014. However, January was a cracking month (always is in our industry) so my Team Payment this month will be larger than normal (and I opened a new group at the beginning of January too, so that'll be an additional £55). All the categories of the other group have risen too compared to December so that'll be where the increase comes from.
My Team money pays my bills (currently at £1,400/month ish) so there should be a surplus this time round. In fact, I'm off to calculate it right now!!
Wow - Could be as much as a £145 surplus.
No bonuses though as my Relief % is greater than 10%, need to recruit new C*onsultants!!!

:hello:Morning all,
Well yesterday turned out to be a funny day. Had the difficult phone call but didn't get fully resolved so he's ringing back this morning. It wasn't too bad but I don't think he's going to budge. It makes me cross that his organisation promised we could rent the room for £55.50, then charges £79 when the invoice comes in. Per week!!!!
It'll kill the golden goose because we'll just move our business elsewhere and he'll lose £4,784 annual rent.
Anyway, last night I was supposed to cover a relief group but didn't in the end. Glad of the time back but could have done with the earnings. They'd have take me over the £200 barrier for my standing order to the CCs.
Today is group day so I get to see how all the fabulous members in my group have done. There's currently 120 members who weigh in each week and they're like my second family. I just love group day.:T
Tomorrow is the day of my operation. I'm having an injection in my right hip under general anaesthetic and x-ray. Steroids and analgesic to try and reduce the pain I suffer and to reestablish the blood supply to my hip joint. Hopefully this will slow down the deterioration of the joint. Can't say I'm looking forward to it, but it needs doing so that's that!! Need to pack a hospital bag!!! Pink mules and my diamante pashmina at the ready!! :rotfl:Perhaps not!!!
After that they're going to "manipulate" my leg to see what level of movement I had left. This is going to leave me black, blue, in pain and possibly on crutches for a bit.:o
Have a good day y'all!
