There's a hardbook book, an autobiography, I was just going to dump at the charity shop, and it selling for £8 on ebay (£0.01 on Amazon!!). So I thought I'd take a chance with free listing ... we'll see.
Checked through my matched bet, everything seems to marry up. Its an early-ish kick off tomorrow, so if it all works out, I'll do two more tomorrow evening for Sunday, and use up the free bets. Colour me happy
Colour me slightly troubled with the can of worms I opened when I asked the acquaculturalist to write a guest blogturns out they're a big-time conspiracy theorist ... disaster preparedness is one thing, but this one's actually *into* the end of the world ... I'm just a modern John Wyndham-alike ... thank heavens the internet's anonymous ... **must not jump in too quickly**
Also been doing a bit of writing, sewn up a hole in the general area of how to stay safe when travelling for women in particular. Can't believe I let that develop! Fixed nowand about to do more.

Good luck with the book sale:beer:. I sell quite a lot of books on Amazon and am constantly amazed how people can sell books on there for 1p. Sometimes the postal allowance nowhere near covers the actual posting costs for bigger, heavier books, and after the cost of packaging materials and Amazon's fees these sellers must be losing a considerable amount of money. I know the bigger sellers get better rates but often the sellers are just people unloading a small amount.0 -
CBC, thanks! Yes, all those £0.01 sales, they often seem to be filled from the USA - they can't *all* be newbies who don't realise how much Amazon will take in fees, especially now that thats shown when you're uploading your stuff. Very confusing tho.Cheery_Daff wrote: »what about one post a week, and rotate them, so each blog gets one post a month? If you get inspired you could do more than that, of course, but as a plan that might not be a bad start? Is one post a week manageable? If not, adjust, but don't do what I do and start thinking you'll post every day because (in my humble experience of my own posting) you probably won't

just photos I've taken this summer, and since there's no financial implications, I'll link here for a while: http://innerteenager.wordpress.com/2014/10/24/there-and-back-again/
Must update that banner. It looks very dull. But I'm so chuffed I managed to write the blog post :j thank you Cheery :A
Haven't done the other writing I also planned :rotfl: but you can't do it all, and I *did* descend into the kitchen to start cookingam about to go there again for a cuppa tea

It' s always a bit of a pain to get things set up, whether it's banking, online shopping or MB, but once the initial stuff is done, it's *generally* plain sailing after that.
Well done on setting up your bid. I know that it's good to have the back and lay bids at odds as similar as possible, and the lay should be slightly higher. So I understood what you were saying :T. But that's about the limit of my knowledge:rotfl:

Define *into* the end of the world?
On that note, I can't recommend the MaddAddam trilogy (Margaret Atwood) enough, she's the only modern author I've read who conjures up a realistic view of the world gone to crap!0 -

I'm out today, so its going to be really interesting when I switch the computer on for a little while this evening, see how it all panned out :eek:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Ooh! Thats more like it. I've never read any Atwood at all - so on another tab right now, I've got kindle for sale books openA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Thanks! The Holy Grail is to find a lay bid thats lower, so they say, but I've never found one
An arb? Coral tend to do one each weekend on Saturday morning during the horse racing season (for example, guaranteed odds of 4.0 on one today that I was able to lay at 2.xx last night for a guaranteed £3.50). Not a whole lot of money, but guaranteed if you're an earlier riser, although technically speaking a little naughty as you're laying first, which you should normally avoid like the plague. It only works when a bookie is offering a set, specific price for a fixed period.0 -
